Their current "target" audience to grow up. By that, I mean like if WWE was wanting to target 8 year olds in 2008, then around 2014 is when those same people would be like 14. It happened before during new generation era where it was a younger fanbase, and they grew up by time attitude era came around

I bet guys like Triple H [who seem to be next in charge along with his wife] want to go back to TV-14 but it's Linda and Vince, their situations and all that. So yeah I'd say it's gonna take new ownership. Someone who's got a clean slate in the public eye, unlike Vince who has had to walk on egg shells a lot in the past 20 years, that can do whatever the hell they want for a while.

When the WWE make more money out of a TV-14 product than a PG product, they'll change their target audience.

Not anytime soon, plus the TV PG rating is NOT the problem with the WWE. Its the extreme they take the PG thing to. People forget that SD has always been rated TV PG, even in the almighty AE

Why would you want Raw to go back to TV-14? It was a grotesquerie, with people turning in to see what kind of shock programming would happen next and not tuning in because it was a quality wrestling/entertainment program.

Raw is the main show and it turn its content influences everything.

Huge drop in toy sales
Since 2010 they have been up significantly. Mattel rebooted them and gave them much more exposure in stores.

Huge drop in sales of child friendly babyfaces (e.g Cena, Ryder, Santino, Mysterio, Cara etc)
They keep buying Cena gear. WWE shop orders are strong.

Losing several sponsors
Since moving to PG they gained new family friendly sponsors: 7-Eleven, Mars, Mattel etc. They are working with ABC family, not to mention the Scooby Doo franchise under Warner Bros.

The CW drops WWE
Saturday Morning Slam has proven another success.
