Re: Does Dolph Need All This?

The more alignment he has with different people, the more depth his character has. I say go for it. They're pushing Dolph slower than I expected, which is good.

*Yawn* Wouldn't matter either way. Ziggler = midcarder for life.

Re: Does Dolph Need All This?

I dont think having a little group around him is a bad thing at this stage, i mean its been done before, Rock, HHH, Michaels, they all were in a little groupd or stable before they broke out, granted zigglers far, far, far from those guys, but just because they were in a group, didnt stop them from going their own way eventually.

Wouldn't he technically be version 5.0 of <recent> big guys that Vince drools over :P or am I missing somebody?

Ziggler is completely ready to be on his own, but having a posse works well for him being a heel. Instead of the valiant hero fighting on his own right, he will always have the sneaky manager/body guard looming in the background (I just hope that doesn't mean WWE will make them get involved every match... I know that's a lot to ask for...)
the fact is, ziggler's best quality is his in-ring work, having those two ruining the only moment he really gets to shine isn't a good thing for ziggler

Actually, I think it is good that it did not happen, because the crowd in real cities in America, are behind him for that reason. (Yep, I just kayfabed Sarah Palin)

Plus, he has some hilarious lines for more sophisticated crowds. Like the epic "earmuffs babe" or "hot dog, we have a wiener".

Honestly, if he had the same character, but was facing heels, he would be over as a face. And would be a credible champion as someone who gets beat down a lot, but still pulls out the win - and look good doing it, as a true underdog.

Your opinions don't matter. I am right and everyone one not agreeing with me is a troll, or an idiot.

(Typical poster thought process)

Yeah I think Ziggler is far better suited to be a face. The fans were/still are begging to cheer him, but the current system is do what's planned a year in advance(don't let Ryback win the belt, don't turn Dolph face etc) for Mainia instead of listening to the fans.

Re: Does Dolph Need All This?

For sure, if he went solo AJ could stop being a main eventer and go back to being a diva(thank god), and Ziggler could stop being a comedy act.
