No he doesn't need all of this. They should have kept him by himself now it is almost impossible for me to like him when before he was one of my top favorites. Even worse what it is doing to Big E's career, here's to hoping he won't become Ezekiel Jackson 2.0 in 6th months.

While I think Ziggler's micwork is underrated, he's not really "great". He's capable of cutting some very good promos, but he's very inconsistent at the moment.

Anyway, I think the entourage is good for Ziggler, as long as the focus stays on him. I'd like for Big E to be more of a factor than he currently is though, they could make for an interesting dynamic.

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

Ezekiel Jackson 1.0
Mason Ryan 2.0
Lord Tensai 3.0
Ryback 4.0

Wouldn't he technically be version 5.0 of <recent> big guys that Vince drools over :P or am I missing somebody?

Ziggler is completely ready to be on his own, but having a posse works well for him being a heel. Instead of the valiant hero fighting on his own right, he will always have the sneaky manager/body guard looming in the background (I just hope that doesn't mean WWE will make them get involved every match... I know that's a lot to ask for...)

If you have enough talent you can use AJ to help your career the way D Bry did. Ziggler won't be champ until he comes up with better character. The Showoff is indyrific, and Chris Hero did the gimmick better anyway.

His character is fine. If Bryan can become World Champion with the character that chanted YES obsessively at the crowd, then there's nothing wrong with Ziggler's character. Besides, Ziggler's character is a great ME gimmick if showcased well because his gimmick takes traits from two of the biggest show-stealers of all-time, HBK and Ric flair, and no-one questioned their gimmicks.

Fact. They do nothing but hold him down. AJ will screw him over though, just like she did with the rest.

Re: Does Dolph Need All This?

Actually, i may be the only one that thinks that this is a good look for Dolph. Putting the title on him and having a good looking woman on his arm is far from original but it may work for him. I do think Big E langston is useless n this situaton tho

Bryan was champ on Smackdown there's big difference between the belt that opens Mania and the one that closes it. Yes Ziggler has some Flair/HBK like qualities, but that's like comparing a guy averaging 20 points a game to Michael Jordan. He'll never measure up to either one in any way he's always going to come up short being compared to 2 top 10 all time guys.

I watched the tlc match with Cena that could've been Ziggler's star making match and it wasn't He was fine in the match, but nothing that sceamed this guy should headline Mania. The Sheild stole the show that night.
