This is black and white numbers. Punk main evented Summerslam and it flopped. Miz main evented Mania and it was a success.

I am not sure about this transition that the Miz is currently going through... could care less if he is a babyface or a heel. I find the bastard more entertaining than at least half the roster when he gets his mic time.

Can't say that for 3/4 guys on RAW or smackdown as only a handful of others are good on the mic.

Only glimpse of a face Miz I've gotten so far is Survivor Series but that's not nearly enough to give me a fair chance of judging his character. For the question, though, I have a hard time finding anybody who is more unbearable and unlikable as a face than this guy.

Yes, yes I can. I just did. And for the record- I do fall under the belief that either Austin/Rock III or Vince/Hogan should have been the main event.

The point is that it didn't matter. Angle/Lesnar was part of the big experience that is Mania. When you buy Mania you buy a package. Not one match.

True. People like to give Punk crap for dragging down ratings back in January, when the Miz dragged down rating for almost his entire reign! And personally- The only matches I wanted to watch at Mania 27 were 'Taker vs. HHH and Punk vs. Orton.

I am seriously in peril right now, where my own conscience is in debate whether to laugh or to cry at these gems.

Cena vs. Miz is widely regarded as one of the worst Mania main events involving two actual wrestlers of all time. Downright dreadful. Do you honestly think that Miz drew the second largest Mania buyrate ever? Following your tortured logic, you do realize that Miz headlining Mania outdrew any Wrestlemania that Austin, Hogan, HHH, etc. ever main evented? Does that make Miz more popular than them?
