He called CESARO Euro trash. He didn't imply all of Europe was trash.
The Miz is a great babyface because he didn't change up who he was all that much, but like he himself said, the fans' view of him has changed. He tells off the heels while still sucking up to the crowd. That's what faces do. You people cry when all faces act like Cena who are do-no-wrongs, but when we get a face with some edge to them you marks have shitfit and say he's not acting like a face. Is he supposed to change his entire character?
Right now his main problem is he is not getting any serious roles and is basically an upper midcarder with nothing to do but his talk show. Once they give him the push for a world title or even just a feud with a top heel he can be judged a lot more properly. They're just trying to get him over with his Miz TV stuff since a lot of people probably aren't used to him being a face yet.
And I don't understand people who say they can't take him seriously, because the same people who say that think that guys like Ziggler or Bryan are main-event material. Ziggler is a pretty boy cheerleader who can take bumps, and has the voice of a teenager. And Bryan is a 5'8'' vanilla midget with a goat face stuck in a horrible comedy role. I don't hate either guy, but I'm just saying, there's other guys on the roster who aren't exactly the toughest looking or acting. All three of these guys have held a world title, and I think they can all do it again. People just like to bitch about who they don't like so they'll find whatever "flaws" they can.
He is FAR from being the worst face ever. This doesn't even need to be asked.
