I hate WWE right now.

CM Punk
A red hot babyface turned heel, so he could walk into the Royal Rumble, lose to Rock and fall short to John Cena at Wrestlemania once again. Is there any doubt that we'll be getting Rock/Cena 2 at Wrestlemania? It's alll too good to be true. Rock beating Cena and that being the end of it. No way is that happening. Cena has to get his win back and what better way for Rock to put him over than to lose the title to him. It turns my stomach that CM Punk''s 400+ day title reign has all been leading up to this.

I'm sure he doesn''t care, but I do. I don't want Cena vs Rock again. Some matches should only be done once, and I feel that last year's match lived up to the hype.

Now, CM Punk is a fantastic heel, maybe the best in the world at this role. But at the time, he was doing so well as a good guy, that it just felt wrong for him to turn again. CM Punk was on the edge of becoming the new face of the company and now that's all out the door. What a waste.

Team Hell No
This team needs to end. The anger management segments were good for one week but it kills me a little inside as to what they're doing with these two. Bryan is almost a joke these days and Kane? He is damaged beyond repair.

When Kane returned last year with the mask, everything was going great. He was taken seriously again, had a devastating claw hold finisher and was put into good feuds with John Cena and Randy Orton. This was everything Kane should be. And then, a mere 4 months later, we have this laid-back comedy... I don't even know what to calll it. Kane, as good as his comedic timing is, should not be a comedic character. I'm not saying a laugh every now and then is not good, but don't make him the punchline. I'm alll for Kane walking in and setting BBQ's on fire, and tombstoning priests... that's the type of comedy Kane should be doing. Really over the top horror movie stuff. NOT Laurel and Hardy type shit.

Daniel Bryan... where do I start? This guy is the best technical wrestler in WWE history. I really wish "yes" was never a thing and I'm sure you're all gonna hate on me, but it's true. Anything remotely cool and WWE run it into the ground. That's what they did with this. They ruined it. I'm growing tired of watching WWE waste Bryan's talent with this current role. Daniel Bryan should not look like this. He shouldn't have a 10 inch beard, he shouldn't be screaming yes and no, he shouldn't be a cartoon character. I want submission badass Bryan back.

A fan on here suggested that Bryan should replace the "Yes" chants with "Tap" and I'm a big fan of this idea. Put it on t-shirts, but don't run it into the ground. WWE need to repackage Bryan as a top face character. He is already a former World Champion and like CM Punk did back in 2010, I want to see Bryan return to his roots - Cut off the beard, cut his hair, plain maroon tights and more submission moves and suplexes. I want BRYAN DANIELSON, damn it.

Not every comedy character has to be a comedian
This is one thing that makes people cheer heels. They're just so much cooler and laid back. I blame the Rock for this. Because of his success, WWE figured they should make every top babyface a smart-ass comedian. When will WWE learn that peoople don't want this kind of face? People like BADASSES. Not obnoxious cracking-jokes faces. I hate to see what they''re going to do with Ryback fpalm

Speaking of Ryback, him and The Shield are pretty much the only things WWE have got going right for them right now. I like Del Rio, but the verdict is still out on his face turn, so I'll give it time. Ziggler and AJ are great together, I give them that. But I have to admit, I think Mason Ryan would be better muscle for Ziggler than Big E Langston.

Your thoughts.

The product could be a lot better, but I think the problem for a lot of people myself included is we sometimes watch as a force of habit.
We care so much about the product and watch so much of it that we become burnt out and struggle to take it any more.

Its like watching a programme like Breaking bad for 3 hours and 2 hours every week for a year. It would eventually get stale and you would need some time away. I sometimes take some time out and this year its been the month over christmas it has made me excited to watch the product again and Im look forward to PPVs and RAW again.

CM Punk

- WWE really had nothing going for CM Punk when the heel turn happened. Punk had already beat Cena twice and Del Rio was injured and then shipped off to Smackdown. Punk also beat Daniel Bryan in a mini feud during the course of the the AJ angle The only real heel at the time would have been Bigshow or Kane. Neither one of those two could really sustain a long feud with Punk in my opinion. Kane probably would have been more interesting, but coming off of losses to Cena and Orton, how credible would Kane have really been?

- I think a turn was smart for Punk, but not as a full blown heel. One of the best things WWE did was bring up real issues, such as how Punk was champion yet wasnt in the main event of any PPV except when he battled Cena.

- I would have rather WWE, made him still edgy like he was when he dropped the pipe bomb, yet attack both face and heel wrestlers. If you noticed, fans still cheered punk after he put Rock to sleep. They continued to cheer him even as he berated King at the announce booth. In fact, the boos only became overwhelming when he started to get cheap heat by making fun of the towns he was in.

- Now it feels like WWE doesnt know what to do with him, much like when he was a face. He feels like he is becoming stale, especially in the promo area. Which is shocking considering he is working with Paul Heyman, who is a mastermind with speech.

Team Hell No

- As stated, Kane was going nowhere after losing to Cena and Orton, both in a clean and convincing fashion.

- Daniel Bryan, well he lost in 5 seconds to Sheamus. At the very least, Team Hell No brings interest to an otherwise lack luster tag team division, while it allows Daniel Bryan to develop a personality and improve his mic skills. Hopefully this can lead to him eventually becoming a Chris Benoit type character, only with a personality and mic skills.

Big E, Ziggler, and Mason Ryan.

- Mason Ryan needs a character. Bringing him in as muscle for Ziggler probably wouldn't work as the "Batista" chants would most likely over shadow anything Ziggler or Ryan do.

- I'm not even sure why Ziggler needs a body guard in the first place. However, I'd rather have had Mark Henry return as Ziggler's body guard. They could have had an arrangement where Ziggler promised Henry when Ziggler won the World Championship, Henry would be first in line for a Championship shot.

CM Punk heel turn = Rock/Stone Cold/Cena face domination.

Completely agree with you OP about Team Hell No.

They're going way overboard with this YES/NO garbage. That shit isn't funny and never was.

The originality seems to be overflowing in this thread!

Is this the first "The current product sucks!" thread of the year?

Punk was not red hot when he turned. He was boring and using the same corny ass lines Cena was using. He needed to do something to keep himself fresh and he did. Heel Punk has been a million times better then face Punk from about May to his turn. I'm not a big Punk guy but he, the Shield and Ryback are the whole reason I watch Raw right now.

If Breaking Bad can keep giving good to excellent episodes, I would most likely not be bored with watching it every week for 3 hours. Breaking BAD = one of the GOAT shows.

:jesse

Can't say the same for RAW since most shows feel rushed and unprepared.

Re: I hate WWE right now.

Disagree with pretty much everything.

CM Punk wasn't 'red hot' at the time of turning. He'd been on the side of ehhh for a while, and is a far superior heel than he ever could be babyface. I'm not really bothered about Rock/Cena II. Maybe I will be, who knows.

Kane has always flipped flopped between a monster character and a comedic one, that's from all the way back to the Attitude Era. I understand but don't really agree with the idea that Daniel Bryan is being made to look like a complete joke. "Yes" was what got him over in the first place, so I don't see how you'd call it a curse rather than a blessing. Submisson badass Bryan was boring and not as over. I'm sure he'll be used in a more serious role down the line but as for now? Just enjoy what he's doing.

As for the last point, I assume you meant not every face has to be a comedian. I fully agree with that.
