Default We NEED to see CM Punk in action!

Im a big fan of CM Punk but I could see the frustration of any of his haters regarding his lack of in ring action.

It isn't his fault that he got injured and it wasn't surprising considering he was possibly the hardest worked WWE wrestler over the past year. Taking the Bret Hart route of being a fighting champion. Main-eventing numerous PPVs, House Shows, High profile matches on RAW, filling in on Smackdown when Randy Orton was suspended. It wasn't surprising that it was only a matter of time before he got injured, the only blessing being the timing.

He has been out for just over a month and for me the time has just dragged. It is maybe a blessing in disguise as his return to in ring action has gotten me more excited than usual to see him in the ring. Haters are going to hate but its a sad day when one of the top three in ring talents is absent for over a month.

I love his mic skills, promos and rants but this is usually backed up my some in ring action. So coming from a big fan of CM Punk it has been pretty difficult watching him come out week after week and regurgitate the same material and not be able to back any of it up in the ring.

I will also admit his title reign has become a bit stale but that in my opinion is due to his injury and feud with Ryback. Which leads me on to my next point...

In my opinion CM Punk Vs Ryback has been one of the worst feuds I can remember in recent history and its been just awful.

It feels like CM Punk has been out of action for 2-3 months because booking CM Punk the WWE Champion so weak and Ryback so strong made no sense. Why would you shit on the WWE champion making him look like possibly the weakest champion I can remember and why would you but 'the next big thing' in a feud against CM Punk who is going to have to win every time. It would have made more sense for him to beat Big Show clean as a starting point than lose to CM Punk.

But with CM Punk been out of action for what seems like 3 months, im sick of watching him been dominated week in week out or run off like a coward. Maybe it was the plan all along but im relishing the chance to see CM Punk in action again and actually fighting. But this is unlikely to happen except for making him look weak again at RAW against Ryback and then saving him for his match against The Rock.

CM Punk needs some momentum going into his match with The Rock. Not a cowardly/interference win against Ryback.

I agree with everything you said,Great OP.

Ryback's involvement with CM Punk not only ruined CM Punk's credibility,But it also ruined Ryback's.CM Punk did not go over Ryback and Ryback ended up looking like a loser who never was able to win the title from Punk.Yeah Ryback's feud with Punk has got to be the worst feud in CM Punk's title reign I agree with that fully.

Also CM Punk being booked as a cowardly chicken shit bitch who is all talk is disgusting,That is just "Miz-like" not "Punk-like" at all.I remember the days when Punk was still a heel and was booked as a fighter who wasn't scared of anybody back in late 2011 with John Cena,Punk needs to return back to being a heel who isn't scared of anybody "have him use cheap ways to win sure" but to act like a coward is just fucking horrible.

Ryback more over than ever. Ryback would have been put in the midcard (most likley go over miz for IC title at the time) if cena didnt get injured. the fans would not nearly be behind him as they are now.

Not true. He got a great clever win at Summerslam and didn't hold back at all at Night of Champions. He mostly has been a coward to Ryback, which is funny to me cuz he gets winded in 5 min and all Punk has to do is last that long then finish him off. But we're supposed to pretend Ryback is this scary monster, what a joke.

Ok so would you rather him vacate the title to ryback and have him vs the rock at the rumble or wait it out for a few weeks and actually have a good match with the rock. Mind you in this month we have had 3 taped raws, slammys and a fucking christmas show. He was hardly needed and if there was a time to take a month off it was now.

Since RAW 1000, Punk turned into cheap heater, who can gain heat in his segments from insulting the town's favourite team. Also, he kinda reminds me of Triple H, when he was in Evolution. Arrive, speaking how good he is, how he worked harder day in and day out, how he is better than others because he is the WWE Champion. Punk is wasted, because of WWE's lack of starpower and his reign might be 5 years, but fighting against Del Rio, Cena, Ziggler and stuff, doesn't make you credible.

I'm not sure his haters care about his in-ring work that much actually, much less as a champion going over their favorites every week.
