Re: What's left for guys like Punk, Cena and to a lesser extent, Orton?
Cena : No idea
Punk : He will go back to SmackDown (where he belongs) and stay there. Maybe, just maybe they'll give him one last title reign before he retires in 2015
Orton : He'll have to turn heel sooner or later

After Cena turns heel, eventually tag with Orton as the new two man power trip and between them win every belt in WWE. Would be epic

CM Punk = Royal Rumble win + WrestleMania main event
Cena = Heel turn
Orton = don't know/don't care

Cena: Turn Heel
Orton: Turn Heel or go to TNA
Punk: Main-event a WrestleMania

While I don't agree with the SmackDown! part, I can agree on Punk taking a break from the title after losing it. Have him get a small reign every now and then, but let this one be his only long reign imo. As for his retirement, I was thinking more so 2014 than 2015.

Agreed as seen above on the main event of a Mania, but he really does not need a Royal Rumble win. With his limited time (2-3 years) left with the company, as he suggests, he shouldn't get one. Save it for up and comers for the next few years in my opinion.

Cena marries Aitch's sister, getting corporate perks.
Punk eventually fades away.
Orton ends up being used in gimmick battle royals every other WM.

Fair point, and you're right about up and comers getting the Rumble wins, but it's just something I would like to see him win. My choices were more fantasy though, because Cena isn't turning heel whether we like or not.

Cena heel turn, Orton heel turn, let them dominate together.
Hopefully The Ratings Killer CM Punk retires or something. I change the channel anytime I see him or James Storm in TNA come on my TV, both are way too high on the card.

They need to continue winning, but begin feuding with younger talent and let it go back and forth making them both look strong but losing clean to the young guy in the end.

The only thing left for those guys to do is become so over that they are able to carry their own Era, so that the WWE doesn't have to keep calling back old Attitude Era stars to save them from absymal ratings.

Re: What's left for guys like Punk, Cena and to a lesser extent, Orton?
- Cena has to make the huge, long awaited heel turn.
- Orton has nothing left other than being in dream matches against guys like The Rock. He could also do with another WM main event in a truly memorable match since HHH/Orton from WM25 was a flop.
- Punk has a long way to go before he's in "been there, done that" mode. Hopefully he gets nothing more but he still has to win the Royal Rumble, main event a Wrestlemania and have more memorable matches with big names.
Also why is Orton addressed as "lesser extent"? He's way ahead of Punk in accomplishments and almost even with Cena.
