Because people are so far up Punk's butt as if he is the greatest WWE champion of all time. He's by far the most protected champion of all time. Seriously he's worse than Cena when it comes to being protected as champion. He had a fan incident a few months ago, and he was injured during his run. Correct me if Im wrong, but for a guy to go almost 2 months without defending the title and is exempt from having his title evacted after not defending his title in 30 days which the WWE has used that since the Hogan Era. Come on now, he's the worst booked champion in history and his character and his real life persona have absolutely no consequence. I wonder how hard he's kissing Vince's ass. I mean his reign hasn't been bad, but enough is enough. CM Punk along with John Cena are one of the problems with the WWE right now.

He is, name one champion who got injured during his run and was allowed to keep his title?

To the people that say "i want him to keep it unti SummerSlam" Get the fuck out of here.

You're probably the same people that were saying at WM 28 that you hoped he'd keep it until SummerSlam. Then when he attacked Rock you probably said he should keep it until RR. Now you want him to keep it until SS 2013. Will it ever end?

1. He aint protected by any means, it just helps to have him as champion because quite frankly, he had to WORK to get people to boo him, and now that they are people are tuning in to see when he will lose the title!

2. He was injured, but the technical rule as far as defending either HEAVYWEIGHT title is 60 days, not 30. Every other minor title is 30 days

3.Neither Cm Punk or John Cena are the problem with WWE right now. Here are some of the problems with WWE right now...
1. Script writers, and their botched story lines,
2 bad promo cutting,
3 mis-handling of superstars
4 drug suspensions,
5 a dis-interested crowd at live events
6.Stone cold, HHH, Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels, all getting old,
7.Eddie Guerrero dying,
8.Johnathan Coachman going to ESPN,
9.Having one too many heavyweight titles and making it less competitiive!,
10.The fact that i know i cant get another Hurricane and The Rock backstage segment
11. Funkasaurus (we can keep the funkadactyls though)
12. Lack of McMahon presence on TV
13. Predictability

the list goes on and on...obviously some of these were greatly exaggerated. But they are all bigger problems than punk OR cena . Because as far as Tv product, Punk is about the best they got right now. And as far a company representatives i think Cena, as much as people dont like him, has represented this company as well as can be expected...

People get injured all the time and I think you're mistaking yourself on how serious Punk's injury was. Punk felt ready to wrestle at TLC but WWE felt that the match with The Rock was much more important and gave him plenty of time to get as close to 100% as possible. So he likely wouldn't have forfeited even without The Rock as he would probably have wrestled if that was required.

The other times, like when Cena got injured, the injury was much worse.

I like both John Cena and CM Punk, but im smart enough to admit that CM punk is nothing more than a mid-card transitional long reigning WWE champion who is only keeping the title warm for the Rock at the Royal Rumble. And to add injury to insult, the Rock could drop the belt back to John Cena (like he needs it) at Wrestlemania. Anybody on this board can tell you that I've backed Cena and the WWE for years, but you know there is something wrong when im calling out both John Cena and the WWE on which direction they are heading. CM Punk went from the #2 babyface to another cookie cutter chicken shit heel who comes out every week to cut the same promo. What happened to the CM Punk who say happy birthday to Rey Mysterio's kid 3 years ago? Now this heel version of CM Punk is the opposite of John Cena as being just another cookie cutter chicken shit heel.

We have to agree to disagree on this. I still feel like Punk worked to get people to hate him, without changing to much of what he is. People werent supposed to like him in the first place. It was kinda like evolution of Stone Cole in his feud with Bret Hart. He was never intended to be liked, fans just drew to him. But CM Punk is far from another chicken shit heel. he is still one of the best technicians in the ring, he can carry a match, and he is one of the best on the mic. I will admit im not the hugest fan but i cant take that away from him.
