Jinder Mahal: Heel or Face?

It may be time to turn Jinder Mahal into a face. He is so charismatic that the crowd will just not boo him. He could say anything, and he will still get cheered. The crowd does not want to boo a guy as entertaining as Jinder Mahal. On the other hand, he is so dynamic and talented, that he plays the role of a heel very well. Look at the transition he made from the serious, rich heel to the more comedy-based 3MB. However, no matter what he does, the crowd won't boo him. Let's look at other similar cases:

1. The Rock in 1998: The Rock was a heel but was getting huge pops every night before, and during his run in the Corporation.

2. Stone Cold in 1997: Austin seemed like a natural heel, but in this case, the WWE caved into the crowd reactions and turned him face.

3. Hulk Hogan in 2002: Hogan returned to the WWE as a heel in the NWO. He was quickly turned face due to the insane crowd reactions.

In all 3 comparable cases, the superstar turned face. Therefore, I fully expect a Jinder face turn in the next 6 months, and I agree with that move. Would you rather he be a heel or face?

Re: Jinder Mahal: Heel or Face?

Are you seriously comparing Jinder to The Rock, Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan? To answer the question, he shouldn't be either, he should be fired and go to TNA.

Re: Jinder Mahal: Heel or Face?

Face. I can see Mahal & Slater having a Hogan vs. Savage type feud in the near future, with Drew playing the role of Elizabeth.

It'll probably main event Wrestlemania over Rock/Lesnar/Cena/Punk/Taker, I mean they're good but they ain't no Jinder Mahal.

do something with the guy. I haven't seen enough of him on TV to even make an assumption if he is good or bad. I voted heel for now, he is in the 3MB and I would like more of that.

Re: Jinder Mahal: Heel or Face?

Yeah, Mahal is in that stage of his career where even if he shows up on Raw dressed up as Osama Bin Laden, he'll still be cheered.

But my answer to you is no. He shouldn't turn till early 2014. He's yet to give guys like Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, Ziggler, etc the rub that he gave to Ryback a few months before Ryback was put into the title picture. And it wasn't the first time Jinder did something like that, he had even given Sheamus the rub before this year's Royal Rumble PPV, which Sheamus ended up winning. Look where Sheamus and Ryback are now - they're right up there as the company's top babyfaces next to Cena. Jinder doesn't really mind putting guys over and I don't think Vince wouldn't expoilt Mahal if it was about securing his company's future. So in order to build these stars, Jinder will have to remain heel, cause Mahal losing to those guys as a babyface would look way too unrealistic.

The best time for him to turn face would be in the main event of Wrestlemania 30, where he would go over a heel John Cena to win the WWE title.

Re: Jinder Mahal: Heel or Face?

Mahal to establish a good heel run before turning him face,Turning him face no would just seem awkward.
