Personally, I don't like the idea of splitting up teams. What's wrong with a member of a team holding a singles title? They should remain a team, there is no rule that says that a team cannot participate in singles competitions seriously. Would it not be a better option for them to remain a team but go off and do their singles things?
It'd add more to their singles feuds and give them something to do when they aren't in the spotlight whilst giving the tag division a solid reputable team. The whole idea of splitting up teams before the team actually makes it anywhere has not worked out for any team. The most successful has been Miz-Morrison and it only sorta worked out for Miz.
Well the issue is if they do the singles stuff and someone wins a title, you have that imbalance in the team. The idea put forward is one is better than the other, so unless the team's about to implode, there's no point doing that.
I don't want them to split up because it will lead to a feud. That will lead to one losing the feud and ultimately, losing credibility. That's why this tag team was a bad idea to start with..
You can’t be serious OP, Sandow gimmick is strictly 100% Heel material but it wouldn’t surprise me if he can pull off a good Face as well just targeting against villains because the man is so talented. Cody Rhodes can pull off a good Face in my opinion, just bring back “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and you got yourself a good mid-card babyface after Kofi Kingston.
The way they're playing this 'best friends' thing makes me think this is the avenue they'll go down eventually. Cody will obvs be the one to turn face.
I'm not ready for them to break up just yet. I need my facial hair & snuggles fix every week, if I'm to tolerate Ryback and assorted other WWE fuckery.
They won't yet. Likelihood is that they end up winning the tag titles and feuding with New Age Outlaws judging by house shows. After that I'm not too sure. They'll probably get a decent reign though.
I see a lot of people voted for both should remain heel and that would be very interesting. The last time I saw a tag team break up and stay heel/face was Kofi & R-Truth. Seeing as reports are saying that Vince and co. are very high on Sandow I wouldn't be surprised if Cody turned face.
how about no one. Sandow is just to good of a heel to be face IMO, and Rhodes, well he just doesn't get reactions so if he turns face he will be just like miz, a failure.
The thing is when might Team Scholars win the titles. It is either between them or PTP. My guess is sometimes in the next 2 months one of these teams might win the belts from Hell No. I feel Hell No will face each other at Wrestlemania with Kane turning heel on Daniel Bryan before Wrestlemania. Who ever beats Hell No will probably end up feuding with Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio. And if WWE is still planning for Rey vs Cara for Wrestlemania then I could see either PTP or Scholars enter Wrestlemania as tag team champions.
They still do singles matches and it's just temporary anyway.
As for the question, neither should ever be face. They are great heels and should stay that way, a split doesn't really need a turn to happen.
