When I look back at Ortons career the only thing that I was genuinely impressed with was his fued with Mick Foley all the way back in 2004. Orton has been a huge dissapointment. He hasn't fulfilled his potential. He has a good look, height, physique and he isnt bad in the ring. His charisma is off the fucking chart though and I don't mean upwards, I mean like -10/10. A brick has more charisma.

Orton is hardly a cookie cutter face... him turning heel would hardly be outrageous. Thinking about it I would love to see a two man powertrip -esque situation with him and cena actually

In the ring though he arguably has more presence and character than anybody.

Orton has all the skills needed to be a top heel or face, why not just make him a total lone wolf, kinda like Stone cold where you got bitten by the rattlesnake no matter if you were face or heel. What I am saying is just make him niether face or heel, just someone who is out for himself by any means.

Stone Cold could only get away with that because people insisted on cheering him whether or not he was the protagonist or the antagonist. You have to care about the character BEFORE they're booked to go either way. If people don't care to begin with, and frankly they don't, it just confuses the audience.

If you talk about his old Legend Killer days, then yeah, that was sort of a cowardly heel. But as The Viper in 2009, he was more of a psycho heel with some cowardly traits like all heels including the monsters have. (even monster Kane ran away once from Cena)

Orton is one of the most charismatic wrestlers in the roster so I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Just because he has a monotone voice doesn't mean he has no charisma.

Orton was a great heel vs The Undertaker. He could easily be the top heel again.

I was thinking the same. Some really think that if you have boring mic skills then it automatically means you have no charisma.

And his promo skills are a lot better than what you see nowadays. He's got so many of them from back in 2004-2006. He showed a lot more energy and was a boss with them facial expressions.

Also as said, charisma =/= mic skills.
