I wonder if they would have Ricardo switch with him or have him involved in the turn itself. Ricardo's character in FCW with The Ascension was a pretty decent heel and in a much more serious tone than the comedy schtick he'as stuck with now.

Del Rio debuted they pushed him like he was the next big thing then they stopped. They leave him floating around the mid card for a year doing the same thing every month, might as well just go back and rewatch what he did the month before.. And they don't understand what's wrong? So they turn him face because shit, what else could a wrestling company do with a wrestler...

They have no clue what they're doing around there.

oh and I've heard all this "have him lose his fortune" stuff in the Dibiase thread. This scenario doesn't sound AT ALL familiar to him does it? I'd say at this point they're biggest problem is that the only damn thing they actually stick with is Cena beating everyone or being cheated out of a victory.

R.I.P Alberto Del Rio and his stylish suits and cars (pretty much the only character they gave him, talk about a missed opportunity).

Get ready to see him wearing T-shirts/trunks and cutting cringeworthy promos and telling stupid jokes while always smiling and 9/10 times winning his matches via submission while Lawler kisses his ass the whole time he is on screen.

I'm not sure Del Rio is salvageable at this point. He's a guy with a look that screams villain, and someone that you should love to hate, but he doesn't generate heat or much of a reaction at all. I can't really see him working as face either due those reasons and that he comes off as pretty bland on the mic.

I would love to see him become a face. The fans still don't seem to react to his heelish acts. Also, if he turns face it gives him fresh opponents to squash instead of rotating from Santino, Zack Ryder, and others.
