Can't hurt at this point. The guy is dead weight as a heel and has basically feuded with nearly every top face. His gimmick screams arrogance (a heel trait), much like the Miz, so hopefully they plan it a bit better than they did Miz's turn.

Del Rio is very one dimensional on the mic, he simply doesn't have the mic skills to be a good face imo, also they guy just seems genuinely unlikeable. I can't see Del Rio as a face working personally.
