I watched RAW every week couldnt wait from like 98-2008, then from 2008 to around the summer I watched but changed the channel a lot during crap, now I cant even watch RAW. This is the worst its ever been, cant wait for road to wrestlemania when WWE actually cares. The storylines and episodes of RAW are the same for 6 months. The talent is some of the worst its ever been, there are like 2 mainevent guys. WWE is becoming almost impossible to watch, I would have trouble watching RAW getting paid.
To me the absolute low was the guesthost period. I actually think things are looking somewhat up, though not as fast as I'd like but still. Rhodes Scholars, Cesaro, Ziggler, The Shield, Punk.. all entertaining superstars in their own right. Tag division is more active than it used to be, the US titel is getting a lot more focus than when, say, Santino had it, there's two guys I like to watch fighting for the IC titel.. now if they'd "fix" the divas division (which admittedly will take time, get the right women in the right place at the right time etc..) I'd say the present product easily beats past gems like the weekly Santino comedy hour, the Brodus Squashfest, useless guesthost after guesthost..
That being said, I realise it's a personal thing, so if you say it's worse for you than it's ever been that's your opinion and you're fully entitled to it. For what it's worth, I hope your enjoyment starts to go back up soon!
Last night was sluggish, and boring, where not much happened. But it was fine, there was good stuff here and there.
Thats a dull show. A dull show is a lot better than a horrible show. Try 2003 RAW, dominated by endless HHH promos and no mid card titles, and a lack of wrestling. Or try the 2009 guest host era, where it's Russian Roulette every week, hoping for an ok host and not a horrendously bad one.
This is gold compared to them. You've got bad stuff, but you have the Shield, Hell No, Antonio Cesaro and lengthy matches every week on RAW right now. That's good stuff guaranteed, at least.

Raw 2003 is a million times better than today. It was stale with too much HHH but just look at the good parts. Interesting midcard with Christian/Jericho, awesome Austin/Bischoff co-GM stint, Kane's brief monster run after unmasking, a couple of months with Hollywood Rock, "so bad it's good" stuff involving Scott Steiner.
What do we have today? Absolutely nothing. And I also disagree with your first sentence. A dull show is just dull. A horrible show can be so bad that it becomes entertaining. Case in point: WCW 2000 and Scott Steiner's feud with Chris Nowinski.
Last night's RAW was complete and utter shit. Sheamus promos are always cringe-worthy... the Vicky and Mcmahon stuff is complete and utter shit... eh if you look at the overall picture and judge the entire product as a whole, last night's show was just a complete failure on all accounts.
i thought last weeks was real good. aside from the cesaro match, i thought raw was the worst it has been in a long time last night. nothing happened to make people go man i need to buy this ppv. i dont understand how anyone would buy it
Last night's Raw was just extremely dull for the most part with the odd highlight here and there.
Raw in general this year, since just after Brock jobbed to Cena at Extreme Rules has been as bad if not worse than it's ever been though. At least things will pick up a little between TLC and Wrestlemania.
Its not guest host bad but the 3 hours are killing them. At least I can see potential for improvement now. Something that for awhile I thought was impossible.
Grammar is taking a hit today. On point though, it was a shitty Raw but I disagree that the talent is the worst its ever been. I think the talent is very very good, its just WWE who doesn't utilise it right and the talent they have goes to waste most of the time in the midcard while WWE are too busy pushing the same guys.
Honestly, the RAW last night was bad- bad as in entertainment that It almost put me to sleep. But hey, It's been worse. I'm seeing slow changed in RAW, but one thing that people don't realize, 3-Hour ratings(viewership) is better than 2 or 1 hour program.
I mean.... did they really give Ryback like 7 seconds all the way at the end of the show? What the fuck is wrong with them... I'm not saying I love Ryback but he is more entertaining than watching the gay tag team matches and the other random shit on the show.
Was there a reason he got so little air time? If they were doing the "save the best for last" thing with him last night they could have at least made him more dominant looking... and not cut off the ending so quickly without warning. It plain sucked.
What was the point of the match between R-Truth and Barrett, it could of soaked up more time and actually entertained rather than ending as fast as a diva match.
It definitely isn't close to the best it's ever been, but it's far from the worst. Let's not overexaggerate. I actually quite enjoyed it this week to be honest, most of it, got me quite excited for TLC.
Jesus...why is it that every week there's a "This is the worst RAW has ever..." I thought last night's episode was very enjoyable, with the last segment being downright spectacular. Perfect set up for TLC. Sure they had a few filler matches, but that's to be expected with the 3 hours. Last night the high's definitely trumped the lows for me...to each his own, I suppose
The three hours would be okay if they introduce another belt (Hardcore, Cruiserweight, European), have two matches with LEGITIMATE tag teams (not teaming up four main event stars), and have a developed women's division (not divas) that they can carry out a storyline with.
My problem with the product...for any show or PPV...is that they aren't developing their characters correctly, and I've seen far too many irrelevant matches and garbage storylines. If Santino keeps his gimmick, I don't want to see him anymore...he could be a decent wrestler, but he's ridiculous. I don't want to see Hornswoggle ever again. I don't want to see Khali waste ten minutes of the show with chops. I don't want to see highlights of something that happened an hour ago.
It's just difficult to watch. I turn the channel to basketball, or MNF, during a lot of the matches.
I will say that they are doing a bit better, but it's most definitely a work in progress. I didn't watch 50% of last night's show...mainly skipped over the matches (including the Big Show and Cena, turned over 30 seconds before Cena was attacked)...it's just hard to care for meaningless stuff like that, and I'd rather see more promos and backstage incidents than Cena/Show, ADR/Ryder (wtf), and other matches that do nothing for the product.
i feel its the worst period right now. even tho the state of things on the surface doesnt seem that bad but i just have a feeling that nothing is progressing from the status quo, we were on the cusp of change many times and its not lead anywhere. nothing exciting happens and seems not possible to happen.
