Default Daniel Bryan's promise to The Rock

Along the lines of, "Somehow, someway, you will be facing ME at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship." Does he have enough time to pull it off still? I noticed he was awfully quiet on Raw tonight, maybe they are planning a turn on Kane and back to full heel form.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict a match out of left field for Royal Rumble, CM Punk vs The Rock. Probably not happening, I know, but every now and then you need to think bold.

Of course not. It was simply a line for him to say to get heat. They never planned on making it happen.

Only in my dreams. He'll probably be back in the title race long after The Rock is gone.

Just like Cena vowed he'd bring the WWE title into his match against The Rock at last year's mania (in retrospect, they should have done that instead of the lackluster Jericho/Punk title feud).

IMPOSIBLE.

I would mark until I jizzed my pants if it happened though.

Currently? He's a babyface who thinks he's a heel.

He was a nameless warm body for The Rock do do his schtick on, that's all he was. No different than all those Corre geeks running in to be bodies to get beat up by Rock and Cena a year ago.

I do have one question for anyone who might feel that Dwayne Johnson "owes" the business. Is it just him, or is it anyone who moved on to other things? Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?

Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?
