If you think about it, Ziggler is to Cena what Punk is to Ryback.
The heels have what the faces want, and both Ziggler and Ryback are the nucleus of main event storylines.
No doubt Ziggler's been treated like an A-list jobber, but he's also being booked like a genuine champion as of late, lest we forget his recent victories over The Miz and Randy Orton.

HA! You actually think He will surpass Billy Gunn in terms of status, or being a top guy? Ain't gonna happen. People never cared about him before, and they wont care about him in the future. Hate to sound demeaning but there's a reason he isnt anywhere NEAR a title shot. In fact, he's still hanging out with Vickie Guerrero, somebody tell me why?

People care enough about Dolph Ziggler to the point when after the Big Show vs Sheamus match at Surivior Series, people chanted for Dolph Ziggler to cash the title on the Big Show.
About this thread, after to losing to Cena in a one on one match and a tag team match, makes you a jobber? How can he be a jobber after being the sole survivor at Survivor Series, beating The Miz, and beating Randy Orton all in the same week?

Ziggler cuts an decent promo with Miz, tells off AJ, beats the shit out of Cena, wins at survivor series as the sole survivor eliminating the guy who always wins at survivor series, beats him again on RAW and is going to face the top draw at what looks like the most focused match at TLC.
How is he a glorified jobber again? Sure he was before, but right NOW he certainly isn't. See i don't live in the past. Ziggler right now is a legit contender. Problem with a lot of people on this forum is they're too stuck in looking back and not paying enough attention to the present.

I like his in ring work...and decent at best on the mic. I just dont see him becoming a true main eventer. Former WHC? Thats a joke in all honesty. Hes an upper midcarder or food for the top baby faces, thats all.
Rhodes, Cesaro, Barret, Del Rio, Sandow, Swagger, and now Reigns would all make better ME heels imo.
