Re: Am I the Only One That Thinks the Product is Good Right Now?

It seems like some people just have low expectations these days and when they see something that isn't completely horrible they over exaggerate its quality, mediocre = "great" to them after watching so much garbage. Also, there are legitimate reasons to be critical of the WWE product, just because someone complains about it doesn't mean that they don't have a valid point.

Re: Am I the Only One That Thinks the Product is Good Right Now?

I watch Raw but I watch it because I love wrestling. When the awful music begins, I'm not like I could have been sometimes " Yeah, It's time for Raw Oh Yeah ! ". I watch it but there is nothing I expect. The storyline aren't bad but they don't kept me interesting. Is it that hard to create excitment because they did it in the past.
So, the product isn't bad but that's not really good for me

Re: Am I the Only One That Thinks the Product is Good Right Now?

I personally love the current product. Some great matches, storylines, and a lot of new wrestlers.

CM Punk/Jericho, HHH/Lesnar, HHH/Taker, Cena/Lesnar, Cena/Punk, Show/Sheamus, Team Hell No have all been interesting feuds this year.

Return of the Rock, and Brock Lesnar. This alone makes this year better then the previous few years. I mean we got the Rock and Brock Lesnar back fighting for the WWE. How awesome is that.

Legends returning. Vader, Lita, Anderson, JBL, and much more. It was great to see a lot of these guys.

Tag team division has gotten much better this year. USO's, Team Hell No, the black guys, Mysterio/Cara, Rhodes/Sandow. The tag division has been better this year then it has in years.

Some great new talent to build our future on. Sandow, Barrett, Ryback, Cesaro are all guys that I would love to see as the top guys in the WWE.

Funny, the mediocre = great is the same thing Jericho tells in his debut promo

Re: Am I the Only One That Thinks the Product is Good Right Now?

I think it still sucks but this week's Raw was much better as compared to last few weeks. It looked like they actually planned the show and went with it. From start to end it was structured pretty well (not good in my opinion but better than the shit they have been pulling in the past few months).

As far as midcarders getting more exposure goes, I strongly disagree. Sure the fatal 4 way was a good match but I dont think they have gotten as much tv time or memorable storylines for the midcard title as they could have with the 3 hours. Remember the days when IC title had long rivalries with actual storylines and a payoff with some special matches (like ladder match) on Raws? Yea those days are long gone.

Tag team division is still a joke. Putting 2 mexican luchadores together, 2 black guys (one of which is useless) together, 2 puerto ricans together with no direction, motive or credibility is doing no good to the tag division. How original.. right? If anything it only shows the diversity in the WWE roster.

The only team that actually has chemistry and are charismatic is Kane and DB and the sole reason as to why that is goes to Daniel Bryan's recent popularity and Kane being a vet in this business and ofcourse with the time invested in them with the whole storyline with AJ and as how they became a tag team.

I honestly think the product has been good since mid to late 2010. People end up getting smarky and forget how to watch wrestling.

It always amazes me how easily you bash other non WWE shows when their not 100% perfect but then can defend WWE and their garbage whenever somebody has a negative opinion about it. No offense, but the problem with the WWE is people like you. People who continue to except mediocrity and look down on people who want to see the product improve because they know full well that the WWE is capable of producing a product that can blow us all away. Why would the WWE ever need to improve themselves when they have so many loyal fans like you who will continue to watch and gladly except whatever they put out?

If you think that the product is good that's fine because that's your opinion. You shouldn't complain when people say Raw is terrible because it really is that bad to some people. Take me for example. It's pretty much unwatchable with the exception of about ten minutes every show. That's just not worth the time to me. I say what I say because I know that the WWE is capable of more than what they are giving us. This is the same company that created the most entertaining era in wrestling history so don't give me the "it's a different time" or "the things that worked back then won't work today" bullshit either. The year or time has nothing to do with having "consistent title divisions, story lines that make sense, more attention to mid carders, ect. I don't make those excuses for them because I don't work for the WWE like some people on here think they do. If I'm not being entertained I don't watch.

It makes me sick when people try to downplay how bad the product today. It makes me even more sick when people tell other people to stop being so negative because this negativity is what's ultimately going to lead to the improvement of the WWE. The WWE is all over the net these days I'm sure the ratings declining and the negative vibe on the internet is showing them that their product in the wrong direction. Smiling and bullshitting with yourself about how the product is still good will get us nowhere.

Everything you posted was fine until this point. People didn't forget how to watch wrestling. The WWE forgot how to create good wrestling. I would have never been a wrestling fan if the WWE produced this crap ten years ago.

No offense but I think people like you either don't know or forgot just how good the WWE was in the past.

.......waiting for usual "stop living in the past" post.

Re: Am I the Only One That Thinks the Product is Good Right Now?

people always think the attitude era is this wonderful, mystical thing where everything was gold. Wrong, i can clearly remember people saying the product sucked back then compared to wcw, i can clearly remember people saying in 2002-03 the product was average, same with 06-07 etc and today.
Point is everyone has selective memory and there was shit/great storyline feuds and shit/great wrestlers in every era.
Right now the iwc has had cm punk champion for over a year, he has had quality feuds with other iwc favs like daniel bryan, we have had the rock and lesnar come back, the tag team division is starting to gather momentum, and cena hasn't been champion in ages......and guess what everyone still whinges. That is the typical "iwc-emo" outlook. Feel sorry for those that are like this to be honest.

Re: Am I the Only One That Thinks the Product is Good Right Now?

I been watching Breaking bad recently and watching that has put me off watching wresting for about 3 weeks, as the characters in that TV show and the writing of that show and then turning on to watch Raw makes feel sick. The reason is that show gave me a reason to keep on watching season after season every day, the WWE simply does not make me want to tune in every week to see what happens next as soon as WWE gives us fans griping TV again their is no point of watching this every week and being bored out of my brains.
