Default Sheamus v Cesaro

This was last weeks RAW, like I said in another thread I'm a bit behind.

This was an amazing match and I'm sure there was probably a thread on it last week. Literally the best match I've seen on RAW in a LONG time, and it was after Cena v Ziggler which I thought should've been the main event match.

OBVIOUSLY the only problem with the match was how they ended it. I haven't been disappointed as much this year, apart from the Royal Rumble, with Sheamus winning this match.
Sheamus has looked strong for an entire year so far, and if Cesaro picked up a clean win over Sheamus, it would've elevated both the US title and one of the best wrestlers (and a top heel) in the WWE right now in Cesaro.

Why do WWE never think of anything longer than a month?

Great match indeed, but Cesaro was never going to win it. It wouldn't make sense for the US Champion to go over the contender for the World Title. Cesaro actually got a bit of protection by losing to Sheamus by count-out, as he didn't get pinned by Sheamus, unlike someone like Ziggler who's the MITB holder and who should be a higher priority than Cesaro, but yet he's took two clean pinfalls to Cena in two weeks now (I'm just hoping this is because Ziggler will go over at TLC).

True, I guess. But they could've easily made all three men look strong by allowing Cesaro to win, Show to come down and try to pick a fight with Sheamus, but Sheamus getting up quickly and THEN Show destroys the chair.

For Ziggler though I think he's in a transitional period, where he goes from coward and starts building more into, well, less of a coward, hopefully before he gets the world title.

Really impressive match indeed. I thought the finish was good actually. Whether we like it or not, Sheamus is the no.1 contender for the WHC, so you have to keep his momentum strong. But the countout loss did at the same time not hurt Cesaro's momentum in any way. I thought it was a good compromise.

Really great matchup, and I want to see them get a 20 minute PPV match. That would be just terrific to watch.

I would love to see some lengthy matches between the the trio of Sheamus, Cesaro and Barrett. Three stiff, hardhitting and agile big men, they'd tear the house down in singles matches.
