why zach ryder deserved more?
Hey I am kind of new to posting on these forums , so I thought I would have a go at my first thread. Awhile ago on my channel which has a link below to check out, I talked about the use of Zach Ryder in 2011 and 2012. When I watched raw today, I watched Ryder take another loss to Damien sandow and pretty much be presented as a jobber.
I then thought back to a year ago at last year's survivor series ppv, when the msg crowd demanded to have Ryder on the show during a match with Dolph ziggler/john Morrison. Eventually he came out for the run in to imo a very good/positive crowd reaction from one of the most famous and notoriously tough crowd. It seemed like zach ryder was making some genuine progress in the company and when he beat ziggler for the us title it came across as a genuine elevation and an enhancement for the guy. In fact go back and watch the moment when he won the belt, the post match reaction of zach ryder seemed genuine and appeared to me that winning the title was a very real career milestone for him , which in turn made the title valuable something any promoter should want.
But of course when the wwe has not had the control to get someone over they have to crush the guy. From that point onwards I noticed he was not booked in a position to advance....... the belt was taken off of him and every match and angle after that seemed to present him as a fool. The angle with eve, when she turned heel, in any story where this happens at some point the face should exact his revenge which should be the end game. She gets the big moment at wrestlemania and turns on him costs him the match, have the wwe done anything since then where zach gets her back and in a good way....i certainly can't remember it. In fact while eve has flourished , ryder has become just another guy. Did He ever truly get his revenge on kane? Not that i can remember and that could of been beneficial for him.
To me when a person puts many of his own resources creates his own ideas with the potential for good money to be made and perhaps some depth in your mid card and value in your mid card you don't throw it away. Ryder did all of this by his own dime and should of been rewarded , there should of been a plan to enhance his stature , because the wwe could really benefit from it just as much as himself.
anyways Anyone else think ryder should of been given more, now I am not going overboard and saying oh he should of main evented every ppv , beat the rock, beat cena and headline mania . But I am saying they could of done better by him.
