it seems he is all over the place with him. Seems like the only time Vince gives him something worthwhile is Rumble & Mania season. Everything else is out of nowhere or stupid (with the exception of Cena-Brock at Extreme Rules, winning MITB, & Cena-Punk at NOC {but their respect crap was annoying}). Especially after the injury (right before HIAC), here comes an affair scandal out of nowhere. Than he/Ziggler go at it for no reason setting up a SS match, than he places him with Ryback & Punk (although he did earn a re-match due to the draw) while staying with Ziggler/Scandal storyline. Than after he lost at SS, he is completely forgotten in the Punk/Ryback picture (and it makes it seem like he didn't care) straight back to Ziggler/AJ/Vickie. There is this also from some dirt sheet (not sure if true or not) about how Vince is lost what to do with him now (current time):
- A source close to WWE creative reports that Vince McMahon is “confused” about what he wants to do with John Cena these days. “One moment it’s Ryback, then it’s [Dolph] Ziggler and next it’s the WWE Title, then back to Ziggler.”
well he does it with everybody. But it seems the guy is completely lost when it comes to Cena, his top guy no less, when its not Rumble/Mania season. I mean Cena vs Johnny Ace? Cena vs Big Show/Johnny Ace? I know Big Show/Cena have history but that was pathetic. Affair Scandal and feuding with Ziggler over what exactly? Even though I hated their feud at least Punk/Cena made sense and why there is hate between the two (History as well). Kane/Cena was good from December to Rumble, than went downhill after that.
Re: Does Vince Not Know How Handle Cena's Booking These Days?
And when he does get into a feud they have to injure him to give him a handicap so kayfabe wise it is an even match. That is when you know someone is to overpowered.
Re: Does Vince Not Know How Handle Cena's Booking These Days?
Ok, so we know what is wrong. What is a real way to solve it? Isn't him losing clean to uppermidcarders on the rise how that is done? Then why won't they let that happen?
Vince cant even get scripts ready on time for when Raw airs from whats been reported scripts for Raw are still being wrote when Raw goes on the air thats just bad
And I'm not kidding either. They miss the front office Jim Ross, they miss the commentator Jim Ross, they miss the talent evaluator Jim Ross, they miss the match booker Jim Ross.
They miss Jim Ross. The decline can be traced back to when Jim Ross gave up all his duties except commentating.
Years back, didn't Vince (and others) plan things months and months in advance in the "big black book" that a lot of ex-wrestlers refer to?
