Does WWE still not support CM Punk?

This is partially inspired by his recent tweets...
For those who haven't seen them:

@cmpunk: Yes, I will be on @AMCTalkingDead on Sunday. Shocking how WWE didn't promote it or get AMC the proper materials in time to announce it.

@cmpunk: I will also be the Grand Marshall in the Chicago turkey day parade. Also not announced or promoted by "my" company.
Shocking.

@cmpunk: This is what happens when you go over everyone's head to hustle and acquire your own outside appearances. #DIY

@cmpunk: Was promoted on Monday. Wasn't Sunday night when it was supposed to be. Ball dropped. S'okay. I'll pick it up and score like I always do.

He's right. I've seen people on this site talk about Punk being in the parade and being involved with The Walking Dead but WWE didn't...at all. Why would they not support outside appearances by their champion? They had a commercial for that ridiculous "The Soup" (whatever that is) that will feature WWE guys but showed Punk no love.

Let's not say its because he's a heel either. Miz did TV shows as a heel and WWE supported it, so whatsamatta with them not supporting #Team366?

Re: Is it just me...or does WWE still not support CM Punk?

Maybe because he booked the appearances himself, whereas Miz was on company business?

It's just to further the #Respect angle...

I thought about that....but the company would still know wouldn't they? Even if you didn't have a commercial it could have been worked into his celebration promo, Michael Cole or Jerry Lawler could have said something...hell anything.

At first I thought maybe they did but I missed it. Because I saw a topic on here last week talking about Punk and Walking Dead so it seems like if its knowledge marks have then the company has it too.

I also considered that he's lying...lol which he might be and thus why I'm asking you all.

Hmm. . .

*tunes into Raw, sees a CM Punk 365 days as champ celebration*

*realizes if Punk doesn't lose it until the next PPV or later, he will be the longest reigning WWE champ since Hulk Hogan in the 80's*

*doesn't wonder if WWE still supports Punk*

Because he is not the Rock, and only the Rock can exist in the regular universe and the WWE universe :P

To give the WWE credit, where in a 3 hour show can they spot a 30 second commercial to let everybody know this??!

Honestly, it's probably with the 'respect' angle or something.

WWE not supporting Punk since he debuted was such a myth, throughout his career he was given opportunity after opportunity that not many people get.

Re: Does WWE still not support CM Punk?

Punk booked it himself because last time he notified them about an outside company having an interest in him making an appearance WWE nixxed it and gave the opportunity to Triple H who you know, really really needed the promotion.

Remember when his friend Sonnen wanted him to walk out with him at UFC?

But WWE said no.

And had Triple H do it instead?
