Del Rio is one of the worst storytellers on the roster, arguably the worst apart from guys like Khali who can't work. And storytelling is the only interesting thing about wrestling in terms of ring work. Del Rio may be able to efficiently execute moves or whatever, but that doesn't mean he is good in the ring or his matches are entertaining or interesting in any way.
I said it was the basics of psychology, I didn't say there was all that there's to it. You, on the other hand, seem to completely reject the entire concept of weakening a body part for a submission (as you said it didn't make any sense). That means that you also reject significant parts of the storytelling of Ric Flair and his likes.

As for your last sentence, of course it doesn't because the words "good" and "interesting" are by definition subjective. Unfortunately you use double standards because you use that logic on my opinions but treat your own as facts. It's fine to be lazy and express opinions in a factual way but if you do that it needs to be done consistently.

He wrestles a grind it out heel match - problem with his current feud is Orton wrestles that style as well. I actually liked the match last night, but understand it's not everybodies cup of tea. Orton vs ADR is a bad feud stylistically.

ADR has stagnated a bit, but he's a solid uppercard hand at this point. I'd like to see him turn face at some point to see if he could expand his move set to add some more lucha flash into it.

I'll take Del Rio over half of the roster any day. At least he seems like he loves what he does. More than I can say for alot of guys on screen.

They should have made him use the "Drug lord" gimmick

Re: Seriously, is Del Rio the most boring wrestler of all time?

Del Rio is one of the best in-ring workers in the WWE right now, but again, his style is kinda boring because he does the same thing by always focusing on the arm. But the guy has some of the nicest looking kicks I've seen, other than that. He needs to change everything about his character

Yes, yes he is. Orton is a close second. The main reason is that he hasn't done anything interesting.

Re: Seriously, is Del Rio the most boring wrestler of all time?

I'm not joking - I want to see him turn face. His match with his brother & Ricardo on that NXT taping - it's floating around Youtube - was great. I want to see him do a family & honor story, where he realizes how badly his asshole behavior reflects on the legacy of his father, Dos Caras and his uncle Mil Mascaras, and he steps up his good-guy game with his brother and Ricardo alongside him.

I would mark out for that all day, every day.

As long as he's in a feud with Boreton, I don't know what to do with him, though.

His character is boring. WWE does nothing to develop it. It's not his fault.

I accept Hayley Williams rep.

Re: Seriously, is Del Rio the most boring wrestler of all time?

Del Rio is great in the ring which is the number one priority. His character doesn´t suck, sure it needs some tweaking. And luckily for all the haters Del Rio said in an interview that he will eventually turn face.
