Re: Do you agree with what Paul Heyman said?
People are having problems with separating wrestling from real life. CM Punk and Heyman probably get on well with Jerry backstage, front stage it's there right to get as much heat as possible.

Re: Do you agree with what Paul Heyman said?
I'm not too offended by what they did (heart attack), but I understand if someone else is. Let me put it this way: would Vince drop a dummy 90 feet and into the ring, from a cord that "breaks" as the dummy is descending?
Now, the difference is, Owen died. Lawler is alive and well. So, again, I'm not too offended.
The other thing that I don't understand about it, though, is that it was really just for cheap heat. Lawler isn't going to be dropped into a major feud with CM Punk.
If you're bringing "attitude" back, why not call out Orton for his failed drug tests? Talk about Cena's divorce. I actually thought it was interesting when Jericho and Punk had the whole "Drunk Punk" storyline written for them, when Jericho also brought Punk's family into the picture...THAT is the stuff I want to see, not some meaningless, fake heart attack that does nothing in regards to building up a feud.

Here is a quote, try and guess what pussy neckbeard said it:
"I believe in pushing the envelope in an aggressive fashion. But when a guy damn near dies at ringside, let it go. You look at all the contributions Jerry Lawler has made in this business: from a work standpoint, a promo standpoint and then as a broadcaster. I think that's pushing the envelope in the wrong direction. There's better ways to go get real heat than that."

But Lawler agreed. I can understand that you were shocked when Michael Cole mecked Lawler's father but come on, how can you be offended when the victim agree

I am not really offended though. I regularly watch and read much more controversial stuff than that. I already wrote up a monster of a post about this in the other thread, so I will give the Cliffs Notes:
1. It was a situation that was deadly serious and should have been left alone.
2. It did nothing to advance any story lines in any way and was also out of character for CM Punk.
3. It failed in making CM Punk more reviled than John Cena, and Punk in fact received the biggest cheers at Survivor Series.
4. It was not compelling in any manner. Three guys/referees interfering and aiding Punk is compelling, Ziggler tearing down AJ verbally and getting the better of Cena is compelling, this was just plain stupid and boring.

Like I said, the heart-attack parody didn't bother me last week. So, yeah I agree with Heyman.

Re: Do you agree with what Paul Heyman said?
I agree with Paul Heyman 100% as i said the exact same thing when everyone was going ape sh*t on her over the Jerry fiasco, people are too sensitive nowadays. I know it wont but i hope that was a little hint that things will be changing back to the AE days, i know it wont be the same but i want an improvement on what we are getting atm
