Re: Where does CM Punk go now?

Punk will continue to be an afterthought for the rest of his career. WWE proved they had no intention of letting anyone overshadow Cena no matter how hot they are. They completely botched his storyline last summer to insure he wouldnt get to big while booking him like shit.

Re: Where does CM Punk go now?

Give him Miz to beat at TLC, quick filler feud, a bit like R Truth was to John Cena at Capitol Punishment

Re: Where does CM Punk go now?

The focus of the PPV will be one Cena and Ryback's matches anyway, and on the probable finale of Show/Sheamus. So WWE can basically just put anyone in a match with Punk as a filler, have Punk win and look strong going into his feud with the Rock.

My first thought was Kofi since he's pretty good in ladder matches and losing in a WWE title match would actually benefit him, but I'm not sure WWE would be comfortable with Punk-Kofi as a title match even on a B pay-per-view. The Miz could work, but Punk faced him at TLC last year and it'd be really rushing his face turn/push. I don't know why anyone would want to see Mick Foley try to work a TLC, but I guess that's also an option.

WWE has a serious lack of midcard faces, it's pretty ridiculous

its getting obvious

Is it just me or is it getting pretty obvious they are running out of ways to make punk retain his championship. This is now the second match with Ryback they have had to have some outside party interfere to have him win

I'm the King, I'm the King

I'm the new King of Memphis, Tennessee!

I knocked Lawler out last week and I'm gunna knock him out again!

Re: its getting obvious

Well there is one ending they haven't tried.

Letting Punk win clean.

Re: its getting obvious

How about him winning clean, once. Haven't tried that yet.

EDIT:

I was beaten to the punch, but I'm leaving it because it's true.

lol wrasslin fans really have no patience. Let everything play out, it's following the storyline of Maddox/Punk/Ryback.

Re: its getting obvious

They are doing this for a reason. Punk will continue pretending he's not part of it. then he'll pull a huge swerve on us and reveal everybody that's been playing part in his revolution

Re: its getting obvious

With TLC around the corner, they can have Punk wrestle in a ladder match. That way he can retain the belt without having to pin anyone.
