Cena was in the triple threat just so Ryback could lose and still look good. They do that sort of things when they still want the guy to be still on the top so don´t count Ryback out yet.

I don't know if Cena screwed much up. I think he brought the best segment in that feud, and I'm definitely a far bigger fan of the Rock than I am of Cena. Rock had to read notes and still stumbled on promos he could do easily back in the day (which is weird since he's working as an actor), and he possibly was limited by WWE in what he could say.
