That's why it's a term like "clean". you know, to mean the opposite of dirty aka cheating or taking advantage of an element that put the opponent at a risk to lose. Like Nash intentionally distracting Punk would count making the Cena win on RAW in August of 2011 not clean for example.
and much like Summerslam 2011, which was clean too. Isn't like Triple H low blowed Cena and ignored the foot on the rope.

Without that distraction, you could say that Cena was going to win. Punk most likely would have tapped out if it wasn't for Vince and Ace trying to pull another screwjob and Cena's pride getting in the way therefore it wasn't clean. A clean match involves nothing but those two wrestlers fighting till someone beats the other without cheating, no distractions, no outside involvement at all, and an decisive 1-2-3. SS 2011 wasn't clean either because it showed the match could have still continued if HHH saw Cena's foot on the rope. If Punk ever beat Cena just like that 1-2-3 with no cheating, no distractions, no outside involvement, then you can say he beat him clean. Until that happens, he hasn't accomplished that.

Re: Has Punk Ever Beat Cena Clean?
These threads are starting to make me sick.
-A win is a win, dirty or clean.
-Deal with it.
-It's Cena, what else do you expect?
-Live with it and stop bitching about it.

Re: Has Punk Ever Beat Cena Clean?
Yeah, nah. That's not it. Like I said, if anyone went by that mindset in their head's then so many wrestling matches don't end clean. Especially on the "decisive" 1-2-3 part. So a flash pin can't be considered clean? Yeah right. Once again, the term is really lost on people. Cena let the two distract him. That's his fault from a character perspective. He could have remained in the hold and all that jazz. Would have won too considering what Vince wanted to do. Cena took his focus off of Punk. Punk hit GTS and pinned him. No elements claim that to be a dirty victory. It's mere psychology to the story. Not every clean victory is gonna be booked the same. It's like a Flair victory in the 80's. Taking a non-partisan advantage to nab the win. Your "cookie-cutter" theory on a clean win has many holes.
The reasoning for why Summerslam 2011 isn't clean is odd too. "if Triple H knew Cena could continue it would have" - therefore it wasn't "clean". what? that doesn't even go with your guidelines. no interference, distraction, or cheating ever came into play so...

Re: Has Punk Ever Beat Cena Clean?
Lol the funny thing is, neither has John Cena.
Cena beat Punk once with the aid of Kevin Nash, than again with the aid of Ryback. Once i even remember Cena kicking Punk in the nuts to get the victory. I don't remember Cena ever beating Punk clean, unless it is a forgotten long-ago match.

Re: Has Punk Ever Beat Cena Clean?
It's been said by myself and a few others: Cena beat Punk clean in their first two matches vs each other in 2009.

yep a forgotten long-ago match. Punk was a jobber to the main eventers in 2009, not nearly as big as he is right now, it doesn't matter if he lost clean back then. I mean if Cena and Taker start a feud right now, who the hell will care about when Taker beat Cena at Vengeance long ago? Cena was a mid-carder back then. Things change over time. Since Punk has been an established main eventer, he has almost always beaten Cena, and when Cena has beaten Punk, it has been an unclean finish.
