Money in the bank 2011:john puts cm punk in the stf,vince orders
johnny ace to ring the bell but john stops him goes back to the ring
recives a gts and punk wins the title.

Summerslam 2011:their rematch with triple h as special guest referee
punk hits the gts but john puts his foot on the rope and triple h counts
to 3 without reliasing that john's foot was on the rope.

Summerslam 2012:triple threat for the wwe title between john cena cm punk and big show, cena hits the aa on big show and punk throws him out of the ring and pins big show NOT john cena.

Night Of Champions 2012:the match ends in a draw after cena hits a german suplex and both his shoulders and punk are on the mat.

so no punk didn't defeat john cena cleanly and probably never will.

WWE has always had a top babyface who is #1. That's how they've always operated and it's what has brought them success.

They tried to push Punk as the next guy, but it failed. Now I think they're going with Sheamus, who has a lot more chance to be that. So when Sheamus is fully over as the #1 babyface I think we will see Cena turn heel.
