This thread is gold. The parallels that DBZ and WWE share are very easy to spot. But with that being said, you can draw parallels between DBZ and many things.

The most startling part of reading posts like that is realising the giant overlap between us — presumably in our teens and twenties — and those like the OP — presumably around ten years old — at the time of these TV shows.

It's interesting how cultural references change. I'd never have picked DBZ as a cultural reference, for example, to analogise character relationships within WWE. But I guess I can see the logic.

Pokemon got boring after a couple of regions, the games were legendary though. And Ive just realised....if CM Punk is Vegeta....Ryback can be Nappa :L
