reading this thread I've finally understand what Attitude Era was for wrestling fans. Dragon Ball was the coolest thing we had when we were kids and our parents didn't want us to watch it but we watched it every afternoon anyways. damn, I miss the 90s. we only have one TV channel in basque(the rest are in spanish) and BDZ was every afternoon back then, when we still knew almost zero spanish. DBZ was HUGE here. now being in our 20s or 30s, most guys still watch it if we catch it on TV, just for nostalgia. I imagine AE was something similar for the guys who were kids back then.

There's definitely some similarities between the two mediums. It wouldn't hurt to incorporate some stuff from DBZ.
WWE should team up with creators of DBZ to make a new DBZ series lol. Main Event already airs in same hour as DBZ Kai does, and WWE is teaming up with Scooby Doo people to make stuff. DBZ and WWE could work great together.
DBZ/WWE are why I liked each show even more. Both had things that were great in it, and made me like the other show, even better.

It's funny how both DBZ and WWE can be someone's guilty pleasure. I've gotten "I don't understand how you can watch that" about both shows. I don't necessarily feel guilty about liking them both these days, but my answer for both is *shrug* "It still entertains me".
