When he's 35 there will be a slew of new talents on the roster that they'd prefer to push ahead of him and be using him as the guy to put them over, just like they do already while he's 31 putting over women and foreigners.

And TNA's heavyweight champ is just 37.

Compared to the Wrestling Grandpas who had the strap previously, 37 is damn near fetal. Let's talk about the fresh young fellow who they took the belt off to put it on that guy who hasn't quite caught on to the fact that he's not a 21 year old raver and it's not 1998 anymore.

Re: Will Daniel Bryan ever be WWE champion?
Bryan is having a great run at the moment. He is continually tweeting his character as he goes and when Vince wants him in a title feud he'll tweak it again. Just when yes was getting boring, he changes to no, when that wasn't enough he throughs in I'm the tag team champions. He keeps coming up with these sayings and Kane ( who is doing a great job) is riding his coat tails to keep up with him. When he and Kane eventually break up, I think he'll go back into the title scene because he's too over not to. Vince recognizes how over he is, gotta face was even in a segment with the Rock, who's appearances are super rare and can't be just thrown on anyone.
Bryan will get a WWE title at some stage in the next 12-18 months

Re: Will Daniel Bryan ever be WWE champion?
The only way to market Bryan is to make him look ridiculous; in any other persona he's just flat latte. And as long as fans continue to enthuse about his woeful, ham acting, comedy crap, Vince is going to put Bryan in the WWE Championship picture. Meanwhile, the ratings for the shows continue to go down while this is the dross we are expected to put up with.

Re: Will Daniel Bryan ever be WWE champion?
He should be eventually.
We've had some crap champions like Del Rio/Miz
Unbelievable champions like Mysterio.
DB is not worse than those guys.

Re: Will Daniel Bryan ever be WWE champion?
I'd say Daniel Bryan has another World Heavyweight Championship in his future, it's practically a given. As far as the WWE Championship goes, that's a large stretch. We're talking about the man who Vince McMahon booked to lose in 18 seconds in front of millions to witness, and WWE keeps reminding us of that since the moment it happened. And he's too stuck up in the mid-card comedy heel act, and I see him being that way for the rest of his career.

Re: Will Daniel Bryan ever be WWE champion?
Bryan is one finisher away from being a top wrestler and WWE Champion. The kicks and the No Lock are good but he needs something that will lead into a pin to make for more climactic endings.
