I don't mind him on the mic. He just seems very nervous... hopefully something that will die down when he gets more experience. He seems to have the arrogant, "pretty" boy heel gimmick. Kinda like what Miz used to have before he tried (or failed) to think he was intimidating.

- As mentioned last week, Triple H is a big fan of Brad Maddox and he will likely be back on WWE TV in early 2013. When they first did the screwjob angle at Hell In a Cell, officials had no idea what the follow-up would be so Ryback destroying Maddox on RAW last week is likely a way to keep him on the backburner for now but keep the door open for his return.

An OVW source noted that Maddox went through all of Rip Rogers' training and was one of the better guys there when he left for WWE. The biggest positive about Maddox is they say he was always working on his weaknesses. If he told he needed work on his mic skills, he worked on them; if they told him he needed work on his look, he worked harder on that.

You can gurantee Brad will be world champion come 2013. It happened for Sheamus in his first year in WWE thats cos he is buddies with HHH so the same will happen for Brad

Kinda hard to tell how far could have Maddox gone when they didn't give him the million dollar contract and instead decided to fuck him off till now. Probably that was his entry in the company and now he is gonna proceed with some developmental. Maybe we will see a lot more from him in the future or maybe that was his 3 episodes of fame.

Oddly enough, there are quite a few of us that are fans of wrestling, especially those of us that are a bit older and have been watching since before the birth of the 15 minute promo. While we certainly enjoy good promos, and adore great storylines, if a guy actually has wrestling talent, he's got one up in wrestling fan's mind, as a opposed to those that prefer the "entertainment" aspects of the product.
Oh of course, the lecture... Thanks for the many things I didn't know about wrestling. At least you speak in the "collective" term.

Failing to utilize Maddox in a meaningful way totally wastes the heat transferred to him by his actions at Hell in A Cell. He's over as a heel right now and got a good reaction on Raw, but instead of giving him a cheap way onto the roster, they just suck all that heat away by having Ryback get the straight-up win. Ryback's already extremely over and wouldn't have been hurt in the least by a cheap DQ or countout loss.

I hope WWE has plans for Maddox in the weeks and months to come, because wasting Ryback's first loss and having NO ONE come away from it with increased heat would be foolish.

I am actually starting to like Maddox. At first I was just hoping Ryback would beat him and that be it, but now I am intrigued to see what they do with Maddox. Perhaps he should have won on RAW.

The question is "Why". Why should WWE give time or use a generic pointless guy like him?
