you think theyd have Ryback win the Rumble to face the Rock at Wrestlemania? You're more ignorant than initially suspected.
And theyre not going to have him run for the WHC, because even vince knows if you wanna make a star, you put the WWE title on a guy, not the WHC.

What does Vince see in Ryback that he can't see in Mason Ryan?
Ryback can get himself over. Batista 2.0 can't.

Re: What does Vince see in Ryback that he can't see in Mason Ryan
How the hell was Ryback shoved down people's throats or pushed to the moon? The guy got over by squashing nobodies for 3-4 months. Everybody back then, fan or hater, was practically begging that Ryback would actually start feuding with real stars. Pretty much everything he got until HIAC was earned.
If anything, Ryback (and for a while Clay) are proof positive on how much of a benefit it is for a new face to have a match where they DON'T have to get beaten around by their heel opponent just because of cliched wrestling psychology.

Talent, charisma, and a catchphrase that Ryback himself got over.

With the "goldberg push" you dont go from squashing jobbers to contending for a main title. Vince wants this guy to be a top star so bad, that he's foregone the whole building the guy up part of the push.
Yeah, he was undefeated. But what the fuck does that mean if he hasnt even beaten a handful of credible stars?

I agree, I'd like to see a Mason Ryan push. If Ryback can do it, he definitely can. Having said this, I am hugely biased about British wrestlers. :P

Re: What does Vince see in Ryback that he can't see in Mason Ryan
I'm not a fan of Ryback, actually I hate his unnatural push, but let's give the guy some credit, ryback have some things that Ryan haven't, first of all impact,he's not lazy in the ring, he works matches in a faster and more impactful way, the strenght of some of his attacks looks legit, then he also knows how to work a random crowd, maybe he will have less fans between the old school hardcore ones, but when it comes to a crowd who just wants to "feel" the match and chant catchphrases then ryback is the man... in the end I could possibly like him if he wasn't booked in this exagerated way.

Ryback is a better power wrestler and a lot more charismatic than Mason Ryan.

They didnt have any unpredictable face to go vs punk at HIAC so they pulled the trigger with ryback.cena was hurt and all the other faces we would have all known were going to job to punk.they most probably would've given ryback a slower push if cena was in good shape.

I think you're right...the WWE's poor booking has been a crux of theirs for quite a while now.
