Re: What does Vince see in Ryback that he can't see in Mason Ryan
Seeing how Ryback has gotten low reactions several times when he's come out for a match, but gets big reactions to his catch phrase (which is sad since it's one of the dumber they've come up with), I'd say that the phrase and the push is the difference. When it comes to the push I think the people referring to nationality might have something to do with it. Ryback isn't a good wrestler, he shows no signs of being a good talker and can't act well either (despite a very simple character), so it has to be the aforementioned things.
I don't really care who it was since another no-selling monster is incredibly boring almost regardless of who it is. Lesnar could make people look good at times and still be a complete destroyer, but I guess you can do that when you actually seem intimidating.
Re: What does Vince see in Ryback that he can't see in Mason Ryan
I remember Ryan was pissed off to not be at Ryback's place during the lumberjack match with Punk. Like already said, Ryback is Vince project, you could had any bodybuilder with this gimmick and he would have succeed. Ryback has surely more potential than a silent monster gimmick allows him to show anyway.
And for Ryan, I'm sure Vince has not forget him and they will book a Ryback/Ryan feud one day. Enjoy.
Re: What does Vince see in Ryback that he can't see in Mason Ryan
I don't know if beeing an american has something to do with that, but on the other hand it is true, theres a tendency that non-us wrestlers will either get jobbed out or they will be a heel. Only exception I know would be guys like Bret Hart or maybe The British Bulldog and those old school guys...

Agreed. Ryback has things that Mason Ryan doesn't have. Plus at least Ryback is over.
Mason Ryan has the big monster look, but he lacks in talent. Even if Mason had catch phrases, he still wouldn't be able to get people behind him probably.
Besides, why are people all of a sudden liking Mason Ryan? Because he isn't getting a big push anymore like he was in the Nexus angle? I remember weeks after weeks of "Mason Ryan is just another Batista".
They may be pushing Ryback to the top in a short about of time that it seems too much, but i'd take Ryback over the likes of Mason Ryan, Khali, Hornswoggle, Ezekiel Jackson, etc. any day.

Dont start making stuff up. Is that why there is a ton of people wearing his shirts and you hear a huge pop when he comes out. Ryback is over. I don't know why his haters refuse to see that.

How is Ryback shoved down our throats. He was on TV for less then 3 minutes a week squashing nobody's for half a year. Its not like he was beating main eventers on his debut, and half the show was spent on him. The fans just fell in love with the guy and his no bullshit gimmick.

Its not really fair to Mason Ryan to say that. The WWE didnt even give him a chance. They didn't protect him like they do with Ryback. They had him return from the injury, and he was super over with the fans. Sure he wasn't amazing in the ring, but he was really getting better. I thought he was going to be big going into Survivor Series, and then all of a sudden they just take him of TV.

And Ryback doesnt? They both have the superstar look. That is like saying you think Batista had a better look then Goldberg. Both men had IT.

To be fair, he was somewhat over as a face, but not by a large margin, I'm a little shocked they gave up on the guy so fast considering all of the reports that people saw potential in him.

I said Mason Ryan was terrible all-around, I didn't say Ryback excelled at every aspect.
Ryback can actually move around in the ring whereas Mason Ryan just stumbles around looking like a fool.
