Why is this thread even going on? Are you an idiot? They tried to push Mason Ryan. Guess what, he doesn't have nearly the presense Ryback does, didn't get nearly as over as Ryback did, the guy looks hesitant when he goes out there.

Ryback looks nuts and like he'll rip people in half. Ryan does not. Ryback has a huge presence, Ryan did not.

Shave Ryan's head, put him in a snazzy singlet and give him a catchphrase, and it'd be no different to what Reeves is doing. If anything, Ryan would be more intimidating as he is much taller and more jacked than Ryback is. Like some have said, Ryan is not from the good ole' US of A, which counts against him.

And what's all this crap about Ryback's "huge presence"? If he was off TV for any reason, he wouldn't be missed at all. Ryback is nothing more than a novelty act, who doesn't know how to work a match for longer than 5 minutes - as was evident by his looking completely lost at HIAC, once he'd exhausted his moveset of doom. That was proof that they're not going to get anything sustainable from this joke of a worker, and if Vince truly believes Ryback is the next big thing, he's as deluded as he ever was.

Considering both times Ryback and Cena have either been in the ring together or mentioned together, Ryback gets chants over him, I think Ryback would be "missed". Just because you don't like his character doesn't mean nobody does. Get over yourself.

Key word here is "Cena" - it has nothing to do with Ryback's character. Even Ziggler will get chants over Cena.

Exactly. Is he the best wrestler from a technical standpoint? No. His matches are awesome because of how brutally he destroys people. From slamming peoples face into the mat to throwing them like they're nothing head first into things. It's a blast watching him just step into the ring and blow shit up.
