It wouldn't make sense for Punk to be able to hold onto the title all this time just to lose it to a guy that hasn't wrestled since March.

why not punk hold it for another year then at wm loses it to the man above
then again it's not gonna happen. Not in this era of wrestling.

I can see the benefit of The Rock being the guy to take the belt away from Punk (it took the "Great One" to end his reign), but I don't see the benefit of a part-time champion (no matter your definition of part-time). Satellite promos and barely defending his title seems like it would cheapen the championship to me...

Maybe it's because a lot of people (not including me) are sick of his reign already so having him hold the belt for another year and a half probably won't be too great.
