He tapped out to Frank Mir 3 minutes into the first round.

All he did was use his size to win, but then when he started fighting guys more his size, he showed that he is not some tough guy. His standup sucked, his ground game was decent, but his massive size helped a lot.

Its just the stupid WWE fans that think Lesnar is god because he beat a 45 year old man, who he outweighs by 50 pounds in order to win the UFC title.
Lesnar was certainly never the best in the world but to say that anyone that's ever captured a major title in MMA, or just beat a top 10 fighter, "fucking sucked as a fighter" is downright pathetic. It also sounds like you're suggesting that the only people Overeem and Cain can beat easily are people that really sucks, which seems very insulting.

And if you only think he used his size to win then you don't understand the techniques of MMA. Of course he was helped by being big and unusually athletic for that size, but that's not nearly enough to beat anyone at that level. His wrestling was good and his BJJ top game developed really well and how he managed to completely shut down Mir's hips in the second fight was very impressive for such a new guy.

So while Lesnar certainly wasn't god it's just as silly to downplay Couture as just a smaller, older man.

I've trained in martial arts for 20 years and have had some international competition success but I couldn't step into the UFC and do what he did. Therefor I'm impressed by what he managed to do with so little time.

DO not fucking waste BORK like this whatsoever. The biggest draw in MMA history and interchangably the first or second biggest name on the card (Rock is bigger overall, but Brock has him beat in a few demographics) , and you're going to feed him to RYBACK when you have so many other matches you can make ? vs Trips II , vs Taker , vs Rock , vs Rock vs Cena . That's literally the ONLY directions they should go for with BORK.
And then we wonder why WWE cant make new stars. Stupid idea in my opinion. We have Lesnar for a year. What did that Triple H match acomplish? Nothing at all. How about we use Lesnar to make new stars for years to come like Ryback, and to solidify CM Punk as a big star.

Re: Do you want to see Ryback vs. Brock Lesnar?

Personally I would like to see Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar (David vs Goliath) type deal in the near future and if Brock Lesnar signs a better contract with lots more dates. Although I guess I would be fine with this Ryback match if it ever took place.

Not really fussed, but if they do go head to head, they both better be rocking full beards. I give the match to the one with the most impressive beard.

Re: Do you want to see Ryback vs. Brock Lesnar?

I think it would be a great addition to the Wrestlemania card. Monster versus monster.

And it would give a young guy a nice rub on the big show rather than fucking Triple H getting his win back in a rematch from Summerslam.

Re: Do you want to see Ryback vs. Brock Lesnar?

Who's going to carry that match? I don't think Brock can at this point in his career especially since he rarely wrestles anymore and Ryback isn't exactly a world class wrestler either. Both guys need a lot of help in the ring from their opponent. I think working them together would really expose that. That match could wind up being Goldberg/Lesnar bad.
