Did people bring up Punk losing to Orton at Mania when he won the wwe title from Cena? Nope. Hell one of the biggest PPV main events of all time, Austin/Rock at Wrestlemania 17, Austin lost to Triple H clean the PPV before that.
If wwe decides that they want to push someone, loses they had picked up before then are meaningless. If Orton wins the title a month from now, no one will remember Del Rio tapping him out, Ziggler pining him, Barrett beating him twice.

Shhhhh, your talking logic.
Doing so is, for some reason, a bad thing here.

No, you're being a backtracking lackadaisical git who immediately goes to the trope book of WWE defense of "wins and losses don't matter" without realizing it's complete bullshit. Then rebutting yourself and basically admitting that "the top guy shouldn't lose much". Do you know why the company has such a hard time making stars in the last several years? Because of this bullshit parody booking where everyone trades wins and no one is presented as special. Do you think the Ryback would be anywhere near as over if he was given the same parody booking that's plagued the WWE midcard for years? If so, you'd be a bigger fuckwit than Mr.High Dosage himself. I mean "let's wait and see, guys" with people like MVP who definitely benefited from that losing streak he had and became a multi-time world champion and main eventer for the WWE once they started pushing him again. I mean Christian's career definitely is at heights it's never seen before after losing that title to Randy Orton, it's not like it hurt him at all! Just look at the current WWE champion R-Truth and what a megastar he's become after his big tag team run with The Miz.
Maybe you'll try the "bbbbut airtime" or "he'll be fine" approach next. Rinse and repeat for the next over act that comes along.

Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?
Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan
i'm watching RAW right now on youtube..Bryan so fucking over and why they still holding him back? WWE tried to burried by give him crap stuff but Bryan turn into salad. so many guys got burried already but Bryan still alive.
I'm shock they send him to the back and fan chant No No No...if you want to be over then be over with crowd like Brits-New York-Chicago.
Bryan is immunity from the WWE Shovel...Burry Bryan and he will come back Stronger.

Not updated in a couple of weeks but
CM Punk = 18-21-3
That's his record this year so far. Wins and loses don't matter.

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan
Bryan is one of a select few people that the storylines revolve around. He's fine.

Already back to complete dunceville one liners. Guess you know more about pro wrestling than Shawn Michaels. Guess you think if Ryback was trading wins with Jindar Mahal and Drew McIntyre during his ascent he'd be just as over as he is now. John Cena certainly got no booking help being booked to be a winner. Not like casual fans don't like winners as they have for the past 100 years of pro wrestling. I mean The Undertaker's streak certainly means nothing, because wins don't mean anything and his 0 losses has no appeal to his draw.

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan
The WWE has an actual star that could be a megastar. He has taken shit and made it work. He has gotten over and staid over when he had no business doing that with what he's given by creative. Hell, tonight just proved that he is probably the most over wrestler on the roster...
You have a guy that gets over with whatever he's handed... he has a gimmick... he has something the crowd can chant... he delivers good promos... and he can deliver a great match with almost anyone. So... the WWE goes with someone else. And only becuase he doesn't look like a Ryback or Batista. Any wonder the WWE is struggling?
