Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan

How can WWE continue to book one of their most over and multi-talented performers the way they do? Losses are fine but clean ones in less than 2 minutes to Cody Rhodes are most definitely not. Buried comments aside that was one of the most assinine booking decisions I've seen. Their constant attempts to position Bryan as a weak member of the roster is so cringeworthy and is completely insulting to the fans who are consistently giving him one of the top reactions every night out. How can Vince and crew be so blind?

Thoughts?

The loss didn't matter. It's just to further the tag team feud between Team Hell No and Team Rhodes Scholars, that's why Sandow's getting losses now on a regular basis when a few months ago he was undefeated. They have to make both teams look strong and that's why Kane gets the win over Sandow and Cody beat Bryan. Now losing in two minutes isn't the best booking decision, but the loss won't matter a week from now. It's irrelevant.

I think the only logical answer that can be given here is,

"Well, it's the WWE, what 'ya gonna, brother?"

You're a real gullible fool. It doesn't matter if Bryan is over or not. It's absolutely laughable to think they'd suddenly protect him if he was half as over or a tenth as over. Anyone with any perceptive sense would know he'd be jobbing to midcarders either way. Insane and lazy defense for his booking.

i thought the exact thing tonight i mean i am actually bigger rhodes mark but to go from being almost punks equal a few months ago to this is criminal! he is still as over, hasnt botched or fucked up from what i can see, has performed at the same level since then yet has somewhow been demoted to mid card.... he mustve ruffled feathers backstage. i think his comments that he makes toawards vince have hurt his push.

Boy this thread is 4 months too late. You should've known this crystal clear the moment No Way Out ended and he was no where seen, mentioned, or referenced to for the last 7 minutes of the match and WWE showed their hand of what they really thought of Bryan when he was at his real peak of momentum.

He isn't overcoming shitty booking. He's slowly withering away to purposely destructive booking. He's not as over as he used to be, because the fans are slowly catching on not to put faith in the guy, because he's just going to lose. All you have to do is contrast his booking to that of Ryback. Crowd cheers Ryback, Ryback wins. Crowd cheers louder, Ryback wins more. Crowd reacts to Bryan, Bryan loses. Crowd reacts to Bryan more, Bryan loses. Crowd realizes their actions don't matter, Bryan loses. Pavlovian conditioning is already in effect.

I'm watching a show where for the past several weeks where the crowd reacts for a few seconds during his matches and then goes silent until he chants No where they chant Yes back at him for a couple of seconds before it dies down. Each time he does this, he gets less of a vociferous reaction during the match. They are no longer chanting it with the degree of passion with the belief that it's going to help him win matches like months ago and at different points where he's not purposely trying to get them, just following what he does for his familiar spots for a little bit before dying off.

Punk did NOT look indestructible in that feud. You speak about him like he was superman-ing, Cena style...

The AJ shit, well I'm the last person you'll ever find defending that piece of crap storyline.

I'm no Bryan mark and I detest his current gimmick, catchphrase and direction (Team Hell No was a waste of time that peaked with Kane's explanation of his life's history), but he does deserve better than this. All that the WWE has done lately is make me change the channel when he shows up. He's getting big go-away heat from me these days.

It's wrong. It will always be wrong until he holds that top belt and is maineventing WM over the pieces of shit he pushed. Daniel Bryan is coming out to STANDING OVATIONS. Cena got mentioned by Vince to be on that team and the crowd automatically started booing. Think about that long and hard..and Bryan is selling BIG on merchandise. So I don't wanna hear that weak fucking excuse again.

I honestly think Vince holds resentment towards him for being more over than he should be. Vince was probably massively embarassed that Sheamus Title win and the entire Raw show the next night were overshadowed by Bryan. Sure, he'll make his money out of YES and NO, but he did that with Zack Ryder merch too, and look at him. Bryan is not a "chosen one" He's like in between a Jericho role and a Christian role, a "good hand" that will get rewarded with a few World Titles, but essentially a guy who can be used to help get up and coming main eventers over.

What baffled me mostly was the fact that Raw is 3 hours long, an absolute drag to sit through, yet they send Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes out there, two guys who have really good chemistry and have had many great matches, yet only give them 2 minutes.

This "weak link" crap has completely run it's course though. Bryan beat Kane at Summerslam too, which makes it even dumber to portray him as the weak link.

A - WWE are shitty bookers

B - They never intended to make Bryan a Main Eventer, because what WWE sees in a Main Eventer is a big guy. Bryan's not big. Thats why despite the fact that "The Ryback" is not the total package (like Bryan is), WWE pushed him first since he has the look that they want. Look>everything in WWE, even if there's no mic skill to accompany it.

I'm not freaking out. Kane got a win over Sandow, so Rhodes needs to have a win over Bryan. Not really a fan of Bryan losing a lot but he is the Tag Team Champions and one of the most over stars on the roster. If he can survive losing to Sheamus in 18 seconds at WM 28, he can survive anything.

Surviving as a midcard comedy act playing the weak link in a go-nowhere comedy tag team wrestling 2-5 minute singles matches where he loses while his partner wins is not even using 5% of his actual ability.

Good, then job out Ryback to Big Show in 3 minutes clean because he's over and wins and losses don't matter.

Think its sad. I just saw a main event where they kept Ryback out the whole match to hide his weaknesses. Ryback was force pushed for months while DB wasnt. crazy thing is DB is over as hell, I would say Daniel got the biggest pop tonight. Daniel is better on the mic and in the ring, is his size why he cant get superpushed like Ryback.

Hoping Team Hell No lose the titles and DB accepts the yes chants and becomes one of the biggest faces in wrestling.
