Re: Chris Jericho's Theory on Punk's Heel Turn
Punk was the catalyst of change as a face. Punk was supposed to be the ones that stood up to questionable booking and said it how it is for the better of the WWE, he wanted things "to be fun again". It was as if he had a mission to make the WWE a more interesting place for everyone.
Now he's heel they've stripped all interesting qualities from him and instead of being the voice of the voiceless he's just another heel. He's a pretty good heel but we've seen all this before. Not to mention the heel turn motive was stupid in the first place, the WWE Universe turned their back on him? Oh please that's the most overused heel turn motive in history. If I were booking I'd at least turn him heel because of booking holding him back and not putting him in the deserved number 1 spot.
It's a spit in the face from the WWE. The one guy that had the ability to change the WWE landscape for the better they turn heel and use it as ammunition to make Cena look better and shove him down our throats once more.
