everyone complains that cena is always in the main event but he showed great dignity and humbleness by letting ryback have a go for the title.

He could have easily gone v punk but he is not a political person and does what is good for business. He knows ryback is hot right now so let him face punk at hell in a cell.

No. Usually passing the torch involves putting over the next major star by having a match at a major PPV like Mania and losing clean. You also should be a big deal star for it to even matter.

Cena just punk'd himself out while smiling the whole time.
There should be a pull string John Cena doll that says the following phrases:

"Be a Star." "Don't do drugs." "Real men wear pink." "Gay is okay." "Sharing is caring." "Hey, want my title shot?" "Anything you say Vince." "Vote Linda 2012."

and finally for the holidays, but only after a mysterious manufacturing blunder...

Best part is he actually said that last one in his Thuganomics days, a.k.a the only time John Cena was actually entertaining because he wasn't a full on corporate puppet yet.

I just can't stop laughing at that picture of Ryback. For some reason he always looks funny (or like he's about to cry, if it's video) when he tries to be intimidating.

As for the actual segment it was just really poor writing. Cena has done everything in his power to get the title back from Punk, but has been beaten every time. Except for the last time when it was extremely close in a draw. Cena should have a bigger fire than ever and, according to the backstage segment, he's physically ready to fight in kayfabe. With all this, which would have been a nice background for a HIAC match between him and Punk, he just gives it away because Ryback looks like he just wants to beat someone up? That should be exactly what Cena logically should be dying to do himself. Or infact something that he would be dying to make sure that no one else does before him because if Ryback wins Cena must beat Ryback instead of going after Punk.

I know it's a tough situation when Cena is injured but professional writers must be able to do better. Even in WWE.
