Hi,

yesterday it was not the first time, that some so called wrestling fans attacked WWE superstars. What is your opinion about it?

In football/soccer such fans would be called hooligans and would be banned from football/soccer stadiums for several years or even for their whole life.
I cant understand how in the 21st century some grown up man cant distinguish between reality and show?

What is your opinion?

@ Mods: This thread is not just about the CM Punk incident it is a general talk about what fans should be allowed to do and what not?

I also know, that the WWE was wrong in not having their security team fast enough on that spot,
but nevertheless hooliganism is not an option

Just ban the fuckers. If they're going to be dickheads to people busting their asses to put on a show for them, they don't deserve to be there.

In the past it used to, literally, come with the territory. Wrestlers used to almost be forced to fight outside the ring.

Things have changed but it's not like CM punk or Jericho or any of those wrestlers this has happened to took a beating.

Those wrestling fans aren't hooligans, at all. A hooligan is someone who goes out of their way to a match looki for trouble and find it. A fan who pushes a wrestler behind somebody else isn't a hooligan he's just a little fucker.

watching that video of punk in the crowd mixing it up, it's shocking that the whole thing was started by a c.m. punk fan of all people. the big **** wanted him to turn around so badly so he could look at him, i guess, that he started pushing/hitting him. so gay. i would ban those 2 fucks for sure.

It's a problem any entertainment company encounters though. Kill the problem quickly and effectively with as little attention as possible. If they're having a final segment where the camera is on Punk the whole time they should have had the security guards around him. Instead they appeared after shit already hit the fan.

Physical abuse, report to the police..

Shouting and taunting.. Depending on the severity, do nothing or ban them if particularily hurtful/ offensive.

Definitely depends on what they have done, I think whenever a wrestler is physically attacked, they should definitely report it to the police.

However a certain amount of shouting/ offensive insults comes with the territory.

Wow.. A few people still don't get it...

Absolutely NOTHING justifys a Wrestling Fan to hit/shove a Wrestler!
NOTHING!

"It's his fault, he went through the crowd."
(How dare he, trying to involve fans in the segment!)

"It's his fault, he was unprofessionell"
(How dare he! I would take the beating even if I fall down the stairs! That's what a professional does!)

None of these things gives a Fan the right, to hit a Wrestler. Just because you paid money or a star standing next to you doesn't mean you are allowed to hit, shove or push him down the stairs!

God people man...

So my point is cleary: If it's really hard or it's more than just a hard touching just to provoke the Wrestler (that's what happend there) , ban the motherfucker.

To be honest I always cringe when they go in the audience and think they should avoid it unless it's brawl and security surrounds them - there is ALOT of idoit fans who will try something...I mean seriously the past few weeks with RYBACK - guy tries to run in the ring - Guy shouts goldberg on Mic...it's just to risky.

I think what cm punk did was fine. Reporting them to the cops would be ok too.

Banning them for life seems a bit....Politically correct, unless they really do something bad.
What some of those idiots did at Monday Night was not only bad it was very very bad. Unacceptable!

ECW back int he day had alot of "hooligans". Int he sense that they would interact a lot of with the wrestlers. Some wrestlers would even yell and get up close with them too... Cant imagine WWE doing it this way, CM Punk usually has the most fan interaction usually not in a good way, like teasing the little kid to shake his hand, telling a fan in Australia that he has no vagina and the recent thing. That sort of stuff was quite the norm back int he day :p

Honestly taking a beating at the hands of the fans is a standard risk that is part of the job of being a professional wrestler, should security not be in the right position to protect you. The job of a heel is to get the fans riled up and get them to truly hate you. Honestly, punk should take that fan's aggression as a compliment to his own promo skills.
