Let's face it, we have been watching WWE for years and we know when something is coming. All this talk about Austin from Punk during the last few weeks cannot be random just for the hell of it. Punk vs Austin is a given and we should be very happy about it. The only question is, WM 29 or WM 30?
I'm going to be honest, for the past year I've been saying no way this is going to happen! But at this time I think we're going to see it, and soon! At the end of 2010, did anybody expect The Rock to come back and in the next year, challenge John Cena to a match at WrestleMania!? No. So I believe it's going to happen at WrestleMania 29, if not then, then DEFINITELY 30! Austin will return after the Rumble at some point, and it'll build from there, just like Cena and Rock!
They certainly keep building it, they keep mentioning Austin and whenever someone does Punk interrupts them about it, Austin stays pretty quiet on twitter about it too, no doubt fans bombard him with messages about how Punk said this and that on Raw the past week etc.
It'd be pretty cool if they DO go with Rock vs Punk at Mania 29(Punk loses the title before then, to Cena, setting up Cena vs Rock II at RR2013, while Punk wins the Royal Rumble match). They could have Punk go over(whoever is fighting Rock at Mania is probably going over because I don't see them giving Rock a 2+ month title reign. Rock's simply too busy), and then on Raw the night after, during the last segment of the show, Punk's getting heat talking about how he beat the Rock, how he's the best in the world and everything, and then Austin's music hits, and they set up the WM30 match. They could set it up one year in advance similar to Rock/Cena. Plus, the pop Austin would get, especially considering how amazing the crowd is likely to be, is going to be pretty crazy.
