Awesome Truth...
They were together very briefly, but they entertained the hell out of me, more than most of the WWE roster does nowadays. These guys had some serious chemistry, but WWE, like always, just fed them to Cena (and Rock). Truth's heel entrance remix was freaking hilarious and I still listen to it on YouTube because I like it so much. I am disappointed b/c they were made to look like rebellious, dangerous, no-BS heels, yet Cena signle-handedly took them down (October 31 2011 Raw) and, of course, taken down easily in Survivor Series 2011. They are now afterthoughts.
The two men have tons of potential, ability, and skills, but look at them now. Miz loses constantly. Thank goodness they are all non-title matches. Truth is in a tag-team that shouldn't be together in the first place. I'm used to WWE screwing up stories and angles constantly, but the thought of Awesome Truth frustrates me a lot.
Hopefully there's another "C-O-N-spiracy" story in the future that these two can be a part of. I'm waiting for Cena to overcome the odds just one last time before I take a break from WWE again.
And who raised the cell at HIAC 2011?

Re: Awesome Truth...
What a suck ass tag team storyline. Hell the whole conspiracy/Punk/Miz/Truth/HIAC/HHH/Laurnatis/Nash shit was so fucking botched. Did they even win a match?

Re: Awesome Truth...
I thought they were complete wank, but that was largely due to the way they were booked. That garbage "invasion" angle they did at Hell in a Cell was the least threatening outsiders storyline ever. They may as well have had Bob Barker and Dale Winton do run ins.

Re: Awesome Truth...
Had potential, brought the best I've seen out of Truth, but then he got high, and it was over.

Is that why R-Truth isnt getting mic time and stuff? he was the man for a while and then all of a sudden he was just floundering around it seems..

Re: Awesome Truth...
To be fair, I think they could have been a good tag team given more time. But they were only really put together to be a brief foil for the Rock and Cena at Survivor Series. In my view that was a fine role, they needed two semi-credible heels and they fit the bill. The people who got angry at them being buried were kind of missing the point. You could have had Rock/Cena vs the Chuckle Brothers and people would have bought it to see Rock. Miz/Truth were just two bodies to be solid hands and not detract from the two main guys.

Re: Awesome Truth...
Well, I read somewhere that there were supposedly more plans for the duo, but Truth's wellness policy violation screwed everything up and, obviously, nothing between the two was ever pursued again, aside from their short feud after Truth returned.
Truth was the hottest thing in WWE last year for quite some time before Summer of Punk. Seeing him smoking in Morrison's face was quite the sight. His segment w/ HHH where he called HHH "crazy" was pure gold.

I'm not sure really, all I know, it that R Truth made his violation, before the SS match, they allowed him to continue working, until that, then Miz took him out. As for him not talking as much now, I think the main reason is to keep Kofi the main point of that team.

Re: Awesome Truth...
I think they had good chemistry, despite being very different, and had a lot of potential. It didn't go anywhere, but that had nothing to do with their abilities as performers in my view.
