Why do you all think Ryback will lose or not get the belt if he faces Punk?
The guy has been booked like the second coming. Since his return to the WWE on houseshows last December he is probably 60-0. In 2010 he was booked strongly, it took Edge and Jericho to take him down that Summerslam.
Going over Punk for the title is booking 101. Same as when Goldberg took down Hogan, Lesnar beat Rock and Batista went over Triple H. And the cell is just a prop now.
Re: Ryback says he's better than Goldberg ever was
Problem I have with Ryback is that he has been thrown into the WWE Championship scene, and the only reason I can see that he is in that great position is because he's got the crowd chanting feed me more.
I dont deny he could potentially have a great future, but thrown right into the WWE title mix when all we have seen him do is squash unknown jobbers that aren't on the roster week after week, and then a couple of low carders, the only guy of any merit he has beaten was The Miz a couple of weeks ago, and whether got a challenge (Tensai) he messed it up.
Its a prestigious place to be and getting a big push like this can damage his career it made Sheamus and Miz suffer, its also a big slap in the face to CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Del Rio who work their butts of week after week for years and years to earn this spot.
Ryback has not earned this spot, time shall tell but Cena and CM Punk have been doing this for years against the greatest people in the history of this company. Who has Ryback faced the makes him worthy of his spot.

this guy is a fluk
Loved it when he first started and WWE showed him down our throats from the beginning by showing wrestlers backstage watching his matches on a monitor in disbelief
"OMG U SHOULD ALL CHECK THIZ GUY ON DA MONITOR. HE WRESTLEZ ON A WRESTLING SHOW"
Anyone remembers that joke?

And LOL@ Ryback marks and defenders claiming how Goldberg was a shitty wrestler and how Ryback is better in the ring.
One question, have you watched Austin vs. McMahon because of the bodyslams? To see who will outwrestle who every monday?
Have you watched WCW vs. nWo because of piledrivers? Have you watched Bash at the Beach 1996 because of the Cruiserweight match Dean Malenko vs. Disco Inferno or because you wanted to see who is the third man?
Have you watched Starrcade 1997 to see a beautiful splash by Sting or to see who will win, WCW or nWo?
The Ryback defending was always ridiculous (someone posted here that only virgins chant Goldberg and the other one made a thread where he wanted that all the fans should stop chanting that because the OP dislikes it LOL) but now it gets even more ridiculous by comparing the wrestling ability. Even if Ryback is the best wrestler in the world and Goldberg the worst, that doesn't change the fact that Goldberg made history.
All the Ryback marks, people at WWE who made him say that and Ryback himself (if that's his opinion) should check again what the name of the promotion is, WWE or Ring of Honor, before coming again with this BS argument how somebody is better in the world of sports entertainment because he is better in the ring. I can name 20 wrestlers on the spot from the 80s who were better in the ring than Hulk Hogan but this doesn't mean anything.
And what is with this shit again
"I love wrestling unlike a certain guy and will never leave"
Is it cool now to talk this way about every superstar from the past generation?
Cena and many others from the current generation said it about the Rock, Edge said it in the promo about Lesnar and now we have the same shit with Ryback.
Should Goldberg wrestle until he is 250 years old like Ric Flair? Or never leave and becoming a glorified jobber like Kane? Or never leave so the same superstars could bitch around again how he takes their spot?
I guess Goldberg made enough money so why should he wrestle if he doesn't want it anymore? The dream of everybody is to make enough money to enjoy life. If Goldberg is a millionaire why should he wrestle 300 days in a year and being away from his family?
Funny, everybody who blames other guys that they did it for the money works for WWE, the highest paying promotion.
This "I am here and you are not" is such a crap. That's like Messi saying to Maradona and Pelé "I still play football but where are you two?"
When Goldberg was on top Ryback was only 17 years old, so WTF is he talking about?
This nterview made me dislike him even more and seeing how WWE is so butthurt about the Goldberg chants, otherwise they wouldn't even mention it, it makes now even more fun chanting it and I hope the Goldberg chants will never stop simply because of the lame "Goldberg never loved the business" tactic.
Thank God the boss of Ryback loves the business after proving numerous times how much he is ashamed of the word wrestling
First thin is first, your clearly ticked off because this whole post wreaks of 'rant'. What, people are starting to get over the fact that Goldberg only went into the business for the glamor and money (the money from being pushed directly to the top of the company) and you want to sit there and just pick apart a new wrestler and it's fanbase because you can't get the nostalgia juice that's swimming around in your brain?
First off how would Goldberg returning do anything to Ryback, when Goldberg returned to feud with the Rock, came back to the WWE in general, tell me, how popular was he? I'm wagering it was nothing compared to the days where he was at the top of the company and a dual champion.
As for the second issue, I don't have two fucks to give.
And yor right, Goldberg made history, by being the greenest wrestler to ever get a linear push to the gold even though he was no where near ready. Having a little extra ability in the ring as well as proper knowledge of holds is the key that will keep Ryback from looking as embarassing as Bill Goldberg did in his match with William Regal.
Next up, yeah it is fair because Ryback has to defend himself due to fuckstains like you acting like Goldberg is some saint and Ryback deserves to get harassed over a gimmick. You remember that awful Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar match? Sure maybe he doesn't gotta stay in as long as Ric Flair, but even if the guy stayed in the business until he was as old as Ric Flair is currently, he still won't have a fraction of Flairs experience or skill in the ring.
But you know what, why am I bothering explaining my point when all your doing is doing what a majority of the IWC has been doing since Ryback redebuted and that's shitting all over the guy. Get over yourself, if it bothers you that bad suck it up, I don't look for every thread concerning John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, or Sheamus so I can bitch like a little girl.
Finally I was able to watch RAW, Ryback is over huge. If you base everything around this crowd, he's currently the most over guy on the roster. The big chants and the huge pop he got when he saved Vince. If they want a Ryback/Punk match, I hope they're not stupid enough to book him to sell to Punk too much unless they want to kill him now just when he's catching fire. It was a decent RAW overall, Vince at his age was more than impressive and some of Punk's facial expressions in the Vince segment were great.
You can also see that Ryback knows his character and how to make it work, his walk is a good example. Now a Ryback/Cena match is interesting. If Ryback continues to beat everyone clean, Ryback/Cena at WM29 is a possibility.
