Compared to...? To be honest I don't find his voice too bad, I mean compared to what he used to sound like as Skip Sheffield. Everything he said was part of his gimmick, and what? Randy Orton is any less generic? Give me a break, when you have something less ignorant to say come on back. |

How am I being ignorant? Because I hit a nerve there by disliking your favourite wrestler? I'm not a fan of Orton, but I'd much rather see more of him over Ryback. Orton is a good worker despite his boring as fuck persona, but Ryback? I've seen absolutely nothing from this guy that I haven't seen in the past. CM Punk is making this guy right now, so Ryback has to take it and run with it. But with what? From what I've seen, his work is terrible. He's not going to be able to run with it. And thank God for that.

Fans want Ryback, or just not Cena?
The WWE.com polls are usually dominated by the younger fans(many polls have someone like Cena,Mysterio winning the polls,and "Good guy decisions" get picked alot).
But on the poll they had now, look at the results...

Which makes me wonder, do fans really want Ryback that much, or do they just not want Cena?

I saw the touts thing they have on wwe.com. AJ starts out saying tout your pick, most of them want Ryback.

I just think they want something new. And younger fans want to see Punk get destroyed, so it's easy to vote Ryback.

Ryback's getting seriously popular. A lot of people don't like Cena. Some don't like Punk and want him "destroyed" (like the previous poster said). Other people simply think Cena/Punk's been done enough. There's also the possibility that some kids don't want "injured" Cena risking further harm to himself until he's healthy.
It's likely a combination of several factors.
