Raw is where the real stars are and if that's what they want Ryback to be he needs to stay there and only there

While I agree, you have to take into account when Ryback can win it. Punk has the feud with the Rock, where the Rock will win. The Rock will have to have it for a few months then Punk/Cena will have to take it back and they will have it for a run. It's better to have Ryback be the WHC for a while than have him beltless for another year. It's obvious the WWE wants Ryback to be a future WWE champ but it obviously isn't going to happen right now. The WWE really screwed themselves over long term for a quick stint with the Rock.

Ryback is utter shit. How has every man, woman and child not realised this yet? He will never, ever be anything more than a horrendously poor, rip off of Goldberg.

Re: Ryback Discussion Thread
If he won the title early what would he do with it. Are ppl forgetting this is someone who has basically just had 3 min squash matches. His one decent match was the triple threat and thats because Cena and Punk took him out during the match.
Have him win the IC title and bring some prestige to it, atleast there he can try to get better rather than in the main event scene. WWE made a mistake pushing him so hard to the point ppl are saying he needs the title. Wade Barret is more talented than Ryback and even he didnt wint the title during a period where he was the #1 heel in wrestling.

First of all I don't think it's a given that Rock will win the belt at the Rumble but even if he does, Ryback doesn't necessarily need to be a champion to be relevant. They could even include him in the Punk-Rock feud, let's say for instance The Shield comes down to attack Rock (they think it's an injustice he is getting a title shot or whatever) - then have Ryback come down to make the save and they fight them off together. That's an instant boost for Ryback by being involved with and endorsed by The Rock and does more than the World Title ever would. And he's probably going to win the Rumble anyway or at least be one of the last guys to be eliminated.
But yeah, essentially there are too many big stars around for him to be involved in the WWE title picture come Mania but I don't think a World Title win does much for him at all.
Also on an unrelated note just thought I'd point out that the Raw after the Rumble is in Las Vegas, Ryback's hometown.

Ryback vs. The Big Show at WM 29?
Per WrestlingInc...
- WWE has contemplated building towards a Ryback vs. Big Show match at WrestleMania 29 on April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It is based on the idea of Ryback having a “WrestleMania moment” by hoisting Show onto his shoulders and marching around.
So, if this happens...Is Ryback strong enough to "shellshock" Show? I mean Ryback did struggle to do this move on the likes of Tensai and Paul Heyman...

sure, why not.
With Big Show helping him, I don't see why he couldn't.
