Patience young padawan, it was a great ending and a good way to get heat on those guys for when Ryback eventually eats them.

+ All of his losses will be made up for when he wins the Rumble by eliminating all 29 other men simultaneously.

Nah, I am just giving my opinion, and I didn't say rybacks promo was terrible because it wasn't, I said that he can always improve if he is given more mic time. You Ryan marks must have read my post wrong. I like ryback by the way so relax.

Re: Ryback Discussion Thread
Yeah Ryback was much better this week. Still think it's a bad decision to put him in another title match he's going to lose though.

Re: Ryback Discussion Thread
Ryback is definitely improving, even though I can't really call myself a fan yet.
I really like that he's starting to sell opponent's offense during matches, even when it's an easy match. That's the by far biggest improvement since it doesn't make the opponents look like shit and makes the match have some dynamic to it. It also doesn't make him look much weaker since he still wins dominantly. The flaw was no-selling the finisher with hardly a one count as that's just too much.
It's also good that he first started talking, and now that they skipped all the food references. It's now on the right track and he just needs to do it more often so it sounds more natural, but the base is set.
It's just too bad that they didn't have him make all these improvements while being built up. I think he would have had a bigger long term impact from a main event push if he was further along, and it was done at a different time.

Hopefully Ryback and Punk finally have a spoken exchange now that we know Ryback can actually carry on a conversation.

Re: Ryback Discussion Thread
His opening match was 'Meh', he really needs to add some power moves, I like the belly to belly Green Light mentioned, just do things at a quicker pace (which he nails later on in the night). His Promo was much better this week, no cringey over elaborated food references, just a bad-ass, telling it how it is. did channel a little for sure.
Ending segment was brilliant, crowd were screaming for him, arrived and looked really good, needs to add some of that tempo to his matches.
Still don't get why he's facing Punk again, it makes perfect sense for him to be put in a match against these three guys at the PPV, in terms of finish, Ryback gets the pin on one but gets a beatdown post match, ANOTHER match with Punk ending in a loss takes the sting out of Punk/Ryback rematch that could happen post Mania or even Mania.

Which is a pretty irrelevant assumption since it has no actual timeframe. That way you can claim to not be wrong even if he has a strong 10 year career. "oh, I meant he wouldn't have a 20 year career". Yeah sure.
But I'm not surprised you aren't being specific, since everyone who was writing him off for everything under the sun (losing a match, losing at HIAC, won't be able to cut a promo, will be hated now that he's cut a promo, won't be popped anymore, won't get ratings, won't sell PPVs, etc) has been dead wrong.
You and the other haters can keep making excuses and crying about how he won't last, how everything will fall apart when "this" or "that" happens. . .and it never does.
Time to stop living in denial. Just 'cause you don't like someone doesn't make them suck to everyone else. He's here to stay.

And I'll be very annoyed if he doesn't. Punk/WWE doesn't need his reign to continue.
