He might be. He is already 100000000 X better than Cena. He is an exact copy of Goldberg though (so far). And for people who say Goldberg was a copy of the Ultimate Warrior:

Goldberg: Bald head, minimal attire, suppressed insanity, short/to the point promos...
Warrior: Long hair, over the top attire, overt insanity, insane promos....

And the lists go on. So far Ryback is Goldberg. I bet the WWE is pissed off they can't use the spear. I hope when he speaks they differ his character. I have little zero- little faith in this company anymore though.

I don't think Ryback's awesome but if it's a choice between him as the face of the company or Cena, then 'LET'S GO RYBACK!'

He's by far the lesser of the 2 evils there. People are getting really tired of the stale, boring, cheesy fuck that is Cena's face character and need a change...seeing as they won't turn Cena heel, then time to back a new face who actually seems like he's there to fight and not just kiss fat chicks and hug babies for the camera.

Every single superstar who gets a push is built up like this, just because Ryback is a bit more dominant and impressive doesn't make him a Goldberg rip-off. Go figure.

Are you fucking kidding me? So what, Goldberg invented the 'bald and muscular' look? Did he start the trend of using briefs? No he didn't, get your head out of your ass, and as far as Ryback isn't goldberg. Unlike Goldberg, Ryback can cut promos, he wears has a different look despite being bald, but you know what? I don't give two shits about your opinion since I'm certain it doesn't matter what my opinion is on the matter.

For shits and giggles though, if you do bother replying to this, give me a current gimmick that hasn't been done. Go ahead, give me one wrestler who is using a gimmick that isn't a composite of several legends or is a rehash of some older wrestler. Go ahead, I'll be waiting.


Edit: And I TOTALLY missed the first line, which was essentially a compliment. I'll apologize for the strong language however, though I still stand by the fact that Ryback's gimmick is easily different from Goldbergs. A Baboon in a french test facility can grasp the concept of same-different, why can't members of the IWC?

In a way, I'm glad they're skipping the middle step for him. Its blatantly obvious that WWE is pushing him to the goddamn moon. Do we really want to see him tearing up the midcard? I don't. WWE needs something different and at the moment he is, and watching him squash people is entertaining but he definitely needs to add more power moves. the reaction he got when Punk got thrown back in and he clotheslined Punk's head off was awesome, JR sold it like crazy.

I'll say it again. He's mega over now because, well, he HAS to be with the kind of build up he's been given. Only a complete and utter retard would fail to get over in this situation. As BULLY stated earlier, his gimmick is that he's a powerful guy. That's it. Let's see him in longer matches then let's make our outlandish proclamations after that then shall we? I wish the guy the best of luck though.
