Crowd was pretty hot for Ryback. They called for him, and he delivered!
@ everyone who was bitching about Ryback's pops wearing off, Ryback's hype fading with a loss, or with getting taken out twice. . .
What now? Crowd still pops for him, calls for him to come out during matches, gets big cheers when he's on the attack.
Side note: I'm glad Ryback changed up his head slamming move. The way he did it with Titus tonight looked much better than usual. He slammed him down, didn't grab and release and take his time, just slammed him down a few times and looked more ruthless in the process.
Good change for Ryback imo. I was just saying last week how I wish he'd do exactly that, and he did! I'm glad WWE/Ryback had the same thought about it and changed it up a bit. Makes it look much better.

Patience young padawan, it was a great ending and a good way to get heat on those guys for when Ryback eventually eats them.
Other than the repetative Punk + newbies on top ending, I think Ryback got put over pretty good up until that point.
I actually loved his promo and mic work. Reminds me of the Golden Era type promos, where wrestlers used to breathe heavy and yell alot. Jim Neidhart for example, Big Bossman, hell even the Ultimate Warrior.
If you asks me WWE needs more mic workers that make more of a noise, so many of them talk too quite and slowly now...

Yeah right, what a bad ass chasing away fake security.
. . .Which is different from fighting fake fights against fake fighters in fake matches for a fake belt for a fake competition with fake fighters doing fake moves where they're not actually trying to hurt eachother, sometimes using fake tables breakaway tables. . .how exactly?
I don't get where you're going with that. Almost everything that happens on the show besides the bumps is fake or scripted. You could use that argument to belittle just about anything on the show. Almost everything falls into that category.
Like I said in the RAW thread, Ryback's promo was great, he actually showed more color to his character and I'm glad they're letting him speak naturally instead of the heavily scripted "food" gimmick he did. He was completely believable in his intensity which is a rare thing in the business today, while also looked like a badass in every exchange he had on the show which shows that he knows how to present his character. No reason to even talk about how over he is because it's happening for months, but I saw people last week saying how he's not getting the same pops or how he got a dead reaction when it was reported from every live report that he had pop of the night, above Orton, Cena and Sheamus. He's probably going to win the Rumble. Would love to see him in more situations like the segment with Vickie where he can show what he can do without worrying about a ridiculous line someone wrote backstage. He's much better and natural in his character that way.
His promo tonight was actually pretty decent, I like the whole intense thing he has going on, don't know how people say he has no presence, that's really one of his strong suites. You know when Ryback is out there and the crowd gets extra hyped when he is. His match wit Titus was good imo, first time he actually took some damage. For anybody saying his hype is dying or the crowd doesn't care about him anymore, all that needs to be done to debunk that is listen to crowd when The Shield was beat up in Daniel Bryan, how they were chanting for Ryback before he came out and the pop he got once he showed up.
